Albanian Laura Woods stuns in plunging Champions League final outfit as fans label her ‘simply exceptional'

EVA MURATI put it all on red - but was a sure-fire winner with her Champions League final outfit. The sports presenter wore a plugging crimson trouser suit for Paris Saint-Germain's 5-0 romp against Inter Milan. 19 19 19 And while celebrations were at fever pitch on the Munich turf, it was scarlet fever online for the broadcaster's admirers. Eva, 30, has been labelled Albania's version of TNT Sports ' Laura Woods. But she's also a model and an actress, having appeared in movies, TV drama and classic plays on the stage. Her outfits are as varied as her CV, keeping her Instagram following of 1.3million fans guessing. Never more so than this month. The Tring TV and Vizion Plus host went braless in a pink strappy top for coverage of the Giro d'Italia cycle race. She then opted for a glittering, low-cut gown to front an awards ceremony in her home country. And on Saturday night, just as PSG got everything right out in the middle, Eva's fans reckon she was flawless in the studio. 19 The law graduate shared a clip of herself perched on a stool, writing notes and walking around as she prepared for the final. Eva topped off the video by blowing two kisses to the camera. One fan responded by calling her "The most beautiful lady on earth". And many followers believes she added a perfect touch by choosing sparkly high heels. "What beautiful feet, what a beautiful and sexy woman," declared one viewer. "Goddess," said another, while she was also described as "simply exceptional". Eva's cherry-coloured outfit might have hinted at half a link to PSG - as the first-time Champions League winners play in red and blue. But if the sometime film actress did get The French Connection spot on, it was a case of The Italian Sob for poor Inter and their dejected supporters. A glimpse into the broadcaster's colourful life 19 19 19 19 19 19 19 19 19 19 19 19

Rio Ferdinand takes his 'Last Dance' as Man United legend ends his TNT Sports career alongside Steven Gerrard and Laura Woods at the Champions League final in Munich

Saturday was a big day for Rio Ferdinand as the former Manchester United and England defender made his final appearance as a TNT Sports pundit. The 46-year-old was part of the broadcaster's coverage of the UEFA Champions League final in Munich. Before kick-off between Paris Saint-Germain faced Inter Milan, Ferdinand joined ex-England team-mate Steven Gerrard and presenter Laura Woods pitchside. Ferdinand and Gerrard was pictured deep in conversation with Gerrard, who recently rejected an offer to resume his managerial career with Rangers. He was also seen embracing Inter Milan striker Marko Arnautovic in a warm exchange as the players inspected Allianz Arena pitch. Saturday's farewell appearance marked the end of Ferdinand's 10-year run with TNT Sports and its predecessor BT Sport. The Last Dance 🎤 #UCLfinal — Rio Ferdinand (@rioferdy5) May 31, 2025 He had become a regular face on both domestic and European football coverage. Around half an hour before Saturday's game got underway, Ferdinand tweeted a photo of himself next to Gerrard and Woods, captioning it: 'The Last Dance', followed by a microphone emoji. Confirming his departure earlier this week, Ferdinand had said: 'After 10 incredible years, I have made the difficult decision to step away from TNT Sports after the Champions League final. 'Since retiring from football, it has been a privilege talking about the game I love for a decade for sports fans watching on BT Sport and TNT Sports.' He went on to thank behind-the-scenes staff, his family, and management team for their support over the years and said he would now focus on his Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast and other ventures.

Why is Rio Ferdinand quitting TNT Sports?

RIO FERDINAND shocked the sporting industry when he announced that he will be QUITTING his punditry role on TNT Sports - and the reason why has been revealed. The Manchester United and England legend is set to hang up his TNT Sports microphone after tonight's thrilling Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan. 2 And it is set to be a huge loss for the channel as he quickly became one of the most notable faces since joining its predecessor, BT Sport in 2015. Ferdinand, 46, acted as both a pundit and co-commentator for domestic and European football, including Spurs' Europa League final win over his former club, Manchester United. His knowledge and experience of the game has led to him becoming one of the first names many look forward to hearing commentate. But in a lengthy social media post, Ferdinand has revealed why he is quitting TNT Sports. Why is Rio Ferdinand quitting TNT Sports? Rio Ferdinand explained: 'After 10 incredible years. I have made the difficult decision to step away from TNT Sports after the Champions League final. 'Since retiring from football it has been a privilege talking about the game I love for a decade for sports fans watching on BT Sports and TNT Sports. 'I want to acknowledge the tremendous support from the team behind the scenes, whose hard work often goes unseen, but has been essential to our success. 'To everyone at TNT Sports, we have a brilliant end to the season to look forward to on Saturday, and for now all focus will be on what I think could go down as one of the great European finals. 'The network continues to thrive with more rights than ever, and I look forward to following its progress and the exciting future that lies ahead. 'Lastly, I would like to thank my family and my management company New Era for their ongoing support. 'They have supported me to travel all over the Europe following the best players and watching the best matches. For a football fan like me, it's been a dream come true. 'As I turn the page to the next chapter. I carry with me countless memories. 'I'm excited about what the future holds, spending more time with my family, focusing on Rio Ferdinand Presents and my other business interests. 'I hope to stay connected with all of you in different capacities. Thank you once again for everything.' What could Rio Ferdinand be doing next? Despite being incredibly busy with TNT for the last decade, Ferdinand has managed to cultivate a massive podcast. His ' Rio Ferdinand Presents' podcast, which was previously called 'Vibe with Five', has over 1.3 MILLION subscribers on YouTube and thousands of listeners on Apple and Spotify. If not that, although Ferdinand plans to focus on his other interests, an immediate move to one of TNT's rivals isn't off the cards. 2 Sky Sports have just freed up a boatload of cash by culling multiple presenters and reporters in a wave of redundancies. And it could be used to finance a potential swoop for Ferdinand, who would draw huge numbers along with former England team-mates Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher. A move to the BBC could also be on the cards following Gary Lineker 's departure from Match of the Day. Ferdinand could use his downtime to focus on the 'Rio Ferdinand Foundation', which he set up back in 2012 or, the Manchester United could try to become a professional boxer once again. He did this following his retirement in 2015 but was denied a license by the British Boxing Board of Control. Another thing on the cards for Rio is stepping back into the food industry. He entered the restaurant world in 2009, opening Rosso Restaurant & Bar in Manchester's city centre. But Rosso, which was visited by A-listers galore, closed its doors after 15 years of service back in September 2023. Ferdinand could look to revive the defunct restaurant or open a new one.

Rio Ferdinand potential career moves after leaving TNT Sports as Man Utd legend looks to ‘next chapter'

RIO FERDINAND is officially a free agent having left his role at TNT Sports. The former Manchester United and England defender was part of the broadcaster's commentary and punditry team for a DECADE. 6 6 But the 46-year-old has decided to move on to pastures new by not renewing his contract. An emotional social media post read: "After 10 incredible years, I have made the difficult decision to step away from TNT Sports after the Champions League final. 'Since retiring from football, it has been a privilege talking about the game I love for a decade for sports fans watching on BT Sports and TNT Sports. 'I want to acknowledge the tremendous support from the team behind the scenes, whose hard work often goes unseen, but has been essential to our success. Ferdinand will have plenty of time on his hands now that he's no longer bound to TNT Sport's hectic schedule. Rio Ferdinand calls out Roy Keane and Gary Neville's takes on Man Utd vs Man City The pundit plans to spend his free time with his family, as well as focusing on his podcast and other "interests". So what will Rio be up to now..? Full-time podcasting Despite being incredibly busy with TNT for the last decade, Ferdinand has managed to cultivate a massive podcast. His ' Rio Ferdinand Presents' podcast, which was previously called 'Vibe with Five', has over 1.3 MILLION subscribers on YouTube and thousands of listeners on Apple and Spotify. The podcasting world is an extremely lucrative one, so Ferdinand would be foolish not to use his massive platform and standing in the game to cash in on a potential post-career goldmine. 6 Punditry Although Ferdinand plans to focus on his other interests, an immediate move to one of TNT's rivals isn't off the cards. Sky Sports have just freed up a boatload of cash by culling multiple presenters and reporters in a wave of redundancies. And it could be used to finance a potential swoop for Ferdinand, who would draw huge numbers along with former England team-mates Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher. A move to the BBC could also be on the cards following Gary Lineker 's departure from Match of the Day. Ferdinand is no stranger to a bit of Beeb punditry having worked for the national broadcaster during multiple international tournaments, including Euro 2024. 6 Charity work Ferdinand could use his downtime to focus on the 'Rio Ferdinand Foundation', which he set up back in 2012. The foundation was set up with the goal of creating opportunities for young people in impoverished areas and has been a huge success. Restaurants Ferdinand entered the restaurant world in 2009, opening Rosso Restaurant & Bar in Manchester's city centre. But Rosso, which was visited by A-listers galore, closed its doors after 15 years of service back in September 2023. Ferdinand could look to revive the defunct restaurant or open a new one. Although given the volatile nature of the culinary world, he may decide against returning to the industry. Boxing Ferdinand tried to become a professional boxer following his retirement in 2015 but was denied a license by the British Boxing Board of Control. Ferdinand immediately gave up on his dreams of becoming a pugilist after the BBBofC's huge knockdown, although he could reignite them now that he has plenty of time on his hands. Influencer boxing promotion Misfits Boxing would no doubt jump at the opportunity to get Ferdinand in the ring as they recently did with his former United and QPR team-mate Danny Simpson. But they would likely have to break the bank to get him to lace up his gloves so late into his forties. 6

Man United manager Ruben Amorim is forced into covering latest cuts on his knuckle with a plaster just months after he 'smashed dressing room TV during angry outburst'

Ruben Amorim was seen sporting a plaster across the back of his left hand during his side's semi-final second leg triumph over Athletic Club to reach the Europa League final on Thursday night. United booked their spot in the Europa League final by virtue of a 7-1 aggregate thrashing of Athletic Club, thanks to goals from Mason Mount, Casemiro and Rasmus Hojlund at Old Trafford. The Red Devils already had one foot in the final, ironically to be played in Bilbao, after beating their opponents 3-0 in the first leg, and will now take on Tottenham in an all-English affair later this month. However, while fans were naturally in jubilant mood after the game celebrating reaching a European final, there were some left concerned. When Amorim appeared on TNT sports for his post-match interview, he could be seen sporting a plaster across the back of his left hand. Similarly, during his post-match press conference he could be seen with cuts across the back of his hand and knuckles as he addressed the media. Additionally, some eagle-eyed viewers on social media spotted him with the same dressing just after kick-off, having arrived at Old Trafford for the game without anything on the back of his hand and no signs of damage. It comes just a few months after he damaged a TV screen in Manchester United's dressing-room during a furious rant at his players after a January defeat by Brighton. United's head coach is understood to have lost his temper as he launched a post-match inquest at Old Trafford and caused the damage by accident. Afterwards, United's players were struck by how 'sad' and 'deflated' Amorim appeared having then been handed a seventh defeat in 15 games at the club. After that reported outburst, the former Sporting Club head coach could be seen with a cut to his knuckles. Regardless, Amorim was clearly in high spirits after the game, and was quick to pile praise on hero of the night Mount, who scored twice in a fantastic cameo, including a goal from almost 50 yards which left his boss beaming on the touchline. 'Not just me, if you look at the bench, that is the best feeling as a coach,' Amorim said of the celebrations at Mount's goals. 'When you look at the other guys on the bench, they are so happy for Mason Mount because everybody in that dressing room sees Mason doing everything he can to be available. 'He's a really good player and you can see both goals are really good goals. So I think not just Mason Mount, not just me, but also the team-mates, they were so happy for him.' He added: 'It is important for every player, when you see that kind of guy working hard every day, eating well, resting, ice bath, when you have these kind of players you just want to help them and he can run like a winger and play with his back to goal.' Meanwhile, speaking post-match Mount said: 'It has been difficult since I have been here with injuries and setbacks and I knew something good was going to come and tonight it has paid off. It was a brilliant performance, we knew they would attack us but to get the first goal calmed us down. 'It has been too long but I carried on going working hard in training every day and tried to stay positive, when I have the opportunity to come on I try and come on and calm the game down and have an impact 'As I saw him come out I was in front of my midfielder I had in my head first touch and shoot, I didn't mean for it to go on my left but I saw the defender was away so to get it on target really. The first one was instinct. 'The crowd has been unbelievable, they have stuck with us, my first goals here so a special night, one I have waited for a a long time and to go back to Bilbao is special.'
