There's a kind of emotional and spiritual connection that comes with playing Krishna and that doesn't fade with time. When people still greet me with folded hands or call me 'Krishna ji,' it reminds me of the impact a role can have beyond the screen. It's a gift, and I carry it with gratitude.' The actor further shared, 'That association is a blessing. Being remembered as Krishna is something I will always cherish. But I also feel grateful that audiences have allowed me to evolve. With every new character, I try to bring a different shade of myself. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo It's not about undoing the past; it's about expanding the canvas. It's subtle, emotionally textured, and deeply human. At its heart, it's about a child wanting her parents to be together. She is yet to meet her father and, in the process, even loses her mother. What I love about the show is that it doesn't rely on high-octane drama to make a point. Instead, it draws you in through silences, unspoken emotions, and the quiet healing that love can bring. Viewers can expect many moments that will make you pause, reflect, and feel.'

The actress recently shared a funny incident that led to fans assuming that she was a chain smoker. She further clarified, revealing details about the incident and how it unfolded. The actress shared, 'I was just holding it and sitting like that. I wasn't even smoking. It was just for the style, for the pose. Then suddenly, so many things came out on YouTube—'I'm a chain smoker' and what not. I said, let them talk. My family is my most important, my greatest asset. If they know how I am, then what difference does it make what they print?' She further added, 'It was a proper photoshoot. The look was totally different. I wasn't casually smoking with a group or playing Sonalika doing that. If they don't understand that, let them talk,' she said. 'Maybe they're enjoying it. Maybe their YouTube is getting views. Either they get some sadistic pleasure, or they just want to be judgmental. Let them.' The show is currently winning hearts with its Bhootni track. Fans are enjoying every bit of it, and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has consistently been at the top of the list. Actress Swati Sharma, who is playing the role of Chakori aka the 'Bhootni,' recently gave an exclusive interview to TOI TV, where she opened up about her experience while working on the show. The show has been on air for 17 years and continues to be loved by generations of viewers. When I first got the offer, I was told that the role of Chakori was for just a few episodes. Even though it was a short appearance, I wanted to make it count. I believed that if I could leave a strong impression, people would want to see more of me. I gave it my best, and I'm proud of what I did.'

Exclusive – Mahabharat's Sourabh Raaj Jain opens up about his bond with Shaheer Sheikh; says, 'Some bonds don't fade away'
Sourabh Raaj Jain is all set to make a comeback on the small screen with his new character Raghav in the TV show Tu Dhadkan Main Dil. The actor recently had an exclusive chat with TOI TV, where he opened up about his bond with Shaheer Sheikh . The two share a very close bond since their Mahabharat days, and Sourabh opened up about it. Sourabh opened up about his close bond with Mahabharat co-star Shaheer. He mentioned how, when you play an intense role like Shree Krishna and Arjuna (played by Shaheer Sheikh), the bond doesn't fade away. Sourabh shared, 'Yes, Shaheer and I have stayed in touch. He's someone I share a great comfort level with. When you go through a show as intense as Mahabharat together, the bond doesn't really fade. He did reach out, and it's always great to have that mutual encouragement. Even if we don't speak every day, the connection is strong and built on shared respect and memories.' He further spoke about his new show and expressed his excitement over the same. He said, 'Tu Dhadkan Main Dil is not your typical television drama. It's subtle, emotionally textured, and deeply human. At its heart, it's about a child wanting her parents to be together. She is yet to meet her father and, in the process, even loses her mother. Viewers can expect a lot of moments that will make you pause, reflect, and feel.' Talking about his character, he said, 'Raghav is not your cliché rockstar. On the outside, he's charismatic, confident—a performer who owns the stage. But inside, he's emotionally disconnected, someone who has built walls around himself after personal loss. That duality is what drew me to the role.' He concluded by saying, 'Preparing for him wasn't just about learning a physicality or presence; it was about understanding the silence he lives with. I worked on how he carries himself—the stillness off-stage, the energy on-stage, and the contrast between the two. The most challenging part was portraying his emotional distance without making him seem cold. Raghav is someone who feels deeply but doesn't know how to express it anymore. Getting that balance right took a lot of inner work.'

It was great working with him as he supported me a lot and I learnt from him.' While talking about his role in the show and what made him say 'yes' to it, he shared, 'When I got to know how powerful this character is and what kind of impact it has on the show every time, I decided to do it. So, there are a lot of things that this character offers. When I got to know about the character, I got very excited and decided to do it. ' Viraj further spoke about his experience playing negative roles. He said, 'I've done many negative roles, so I have never struggled with keeping distinctions. As an actor, it's important to know when to switch on and switch off from the role, which I've personally learnt from doing many negative roles. While shooting, you have to be all in for the character and simply switch on—otherwise, fans won't enjoy what they see. '
