Shooting inside North York karaoke bar sends 1 to hospital

THE CANADIAN PRESS/Graeme Roy A shooting at a karaoke bar in North York sent one male to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries early Monday morning, paramedics say. The incident occurred near Victoria Park Avenue and Sparks Avenue, at around 12:45 a.m., police say in a post on X. SHOOTING: Victoria Park Ave & Sparks Ave @TPS33DIV 12:47 am -police responded to reports of a shooting inside a karaoke bar -officers arrived on scene and located a male who had been shot -victim transported to hospital by @TorontoMedics -updates to follow#GO1624529 ^sm — Toronto Police Operations (@TPSOperations) August 4, 2025 Officers said they responded to reports of a shooting inside the karaoke bar, where they found the victim with gunshot wounds. Police say the suspect fled before they arrived. Officials describe him as an East Asian man in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall with a slim build, and was wearing dark clothing. This is an ongoing investigation. Police ask anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.

A male victim was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries Tuesday afternoon after a shooting in Etobicoke. Toronto Police said they responded to the shooting at about 12:45 p.m. in the Rathburn Rd.-Renforth Dr. area near Centennial Park after receiving reports of an altercation that resulted in a male being shot. Toronto shooting: One dead, five injured near Yorkdale Mall
Listen to article At least one man was killed and five others injured in a shooting near Yorkdale Mall in Toronto on Tuesday evening, local police confirmed. The incident occurred around 8:30 pm (0030 GMT Wednesday) near Flemington and Zachary Roads, close to Ranee Avenue and Allen Road. The severity of their injuries was reported as non-life threatening. Police have not provided details about any suspects involved in the shooting. Woman injured after falling out of or jumping from vehicle on Gardiner
This image was taken from a social media post put out by Toronto Police ( A woman was rushed to a hospital after she fell out of or jumped from a vehicle on the Gardiner Expressway early Sunday. Toronto Police reported the woman suffered 'serious injuries' after the 2 a.m. incident in the westbound lanes of the Gardiner, at Dufferin St. She is now listed in stable condition. Police confirmed that officers were able to locate the driver of the vehicle. The westbound lanes of the Gardiner, at Spadina Ave., were closed but have since reopened.
