The Open Championship: How to watch in Ontario, betting odds, and Canadians to keep an eye on
The Open Championship, otherwise referred to as the British Open, is underway at Royal Portrush in the United Kingdom through Sunday.
The tournament dates back to 1860, and is the oldest running golf tournament in the world.
This year's purse is set at $17 million.

This year's field of participants is led by Scottie Scheffler, who is the betting odds favourite to win the tournament,

Rory McIlroy, coming off his first Masters victory, comes in with the second highest odds to win it all, followed by Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Tommy Fleetwood, Xander Schauffele, Ludvig Aberg, Tyrrell Hatton, Viktor Hovland and Shane Lowry.
PGA Tour experts
have submitted their picks on who they think could win the Open, with a number of dark horses in the mix, like Matt Fitzpatrick.

Conners leads the way for the field of Canadians when it comes to betting odds, sitting at a 60 to 1 chance to win it all.
