NDA will form coalition govt in TN: TTV
Trichy: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will form a coalition govt in Tamil Nadu after the 2026 assembly election, and all constituents would get a share in the administration and cabinet, AMMK general secretary T T V Dhinakaran said in Trichy on Wednesday. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now "NDA will form a coalition govt in Tamil Nadu after defeating the anti-people DMK. It will be similar to the NDA ministry in 2014 and 2019 at the Centre. NDA will have an absolute majority, and a coalition ministry will be formed in the state," Dhinakaran told reporters. Asked who would be the chief ministerial candidate, he said the question should be posed to Union home minister Amit Shah. Referring to Ungaludan Stalin scheme, Dhinakaran said the people are not with DMK, which is petrified by NDA gaining strength. He said the Rs1,000 financial assistance for women heads of families is inadequate and has not reached many. "As DMK has failed to control inflation, a family needs Rs5,000 to Rs6,000 as monthly assistance. Per capita income in Tamil Nadu has increased because of the people's development schemes of the Indian govt, not because of the state govt," he added. Dhinakaran said more like-minded parties may join NDA before the assembly election.

NDA will dethrone DMK govt in next assembly poll: TTV Dhinakaran
Salem: Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) general secretary T T V Dhinakaran on Tuesday expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would defeat the DMK-led coalition in the upcoming assembly poll and form govt in Tamil Nadu. Addressing the meeting after a meeting of AMMK officials at Veerapandi here on the day, he said all parties were invited to the Murugan devotees' conference organized by the Hindu Munnani. When asked about the video clip played at the conference showing Periyar E V Ramasamy and C N Annadurai in poor light, Dhinakaran said those leaders, who were pivotal figures in the Dravidian movement, shouldn't have been criticized at the meeting that was attended by representatives from all parties. He said it was a regrettable incident. Dhinakaran said they were collaborating with the NDA with the sole aim of ousting the anti-people DMK govt in the upcoming assembly election. "In the last parliamentary elections, we campaigned under the NDA banner, stressing that the nation's safety hinged on Modi's return as the Prime Minister. We have now rejoined the NDA for a shared objective. A decision on the number of seats the AMMK will contest will be made closer to the election. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trade Bitcoin & Ethereum – No Wallet Needed! "Speaking out against Hindus appears to be the only method to defend minority interests." When asked about the feasibility of a coalition govt in Tamil Nadu, Dhinakaran said there was a possibility for such a govt in the state. "The NDA govt at the Centre has been providing opportunities for alliance parties. Given this approach, there is a possibility for a coalition govt in TN as well."
