2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V launched at Rs 1.53 lakh
TVS Motor Company has launched the updated 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V, celebrating two decades of the Apache series. The latest model not only complies with the new OBD2B (On-Board Diagnostics) emission norms but also introduces performance upgrades and design enhancements. Priced at Rs 1.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the motorcycle continues to reflect the brand's racing DNA while offering new-age features for everyday the key upgrades, the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V now features a 37mm upside-down (USD) front suspension for better handling and cornering stability, along with a new hydroformed handlebar that improves control in various riding conditions. Aesthetically, it gets refreshed graphics and a bold red alloy wheel, available in three colour options — Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite the hood, the Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197.75cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 20.8PS at 9,000rpm and 17.25Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. It retains several segment-first features such as three ride modes (Urban, Sport, and Rain), dual-channel ABS with rear lift-off protection, a race-tuned slipper clutch, adjustable clutch and brake levers, and TVS SmartXonnect with Bluetooth and voice assist. The motorcycle also comes equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps with DRLs, and signature race-inspired styling that has evolved over the years since its debut in 2016. Kadam Mobility will roll out these electric vehicles in phases, starting in pilot zones by Q2 of FY2526, with a progressive scale-up in vehicle volumes and route coverage. With a strong focus on clean intra-city mobility and driver livelihood creation, Kadam Mobility plans to leverage this deployment to create dignified employment opportunities, especially for women and underrepresented communities. TVS Motor Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kadam Mobility , a fleet and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure platform provider, to deploy 500 units of the TVS King EV Max electric three-wheeler (e3W) during the financial year 2026 (FY26). The initiative marks a significant step toward accelerating India's electric vehicle transition and strengthening sustainable urban transportation, the companies said in a joint statement Tuesday. Phased Rollout Starting Q2 FY26 The companies will commence deploying the TVS King EV Max in pilot zones from the July-August quarter (Q2FY26), with gradual expansion planned in terms of fleet size and operational routes. Kadam Mobility will focus on metro and tier-1 cities as the partnership scales.
