TVS Motor partners with Kadam Mobility to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers across India
ADVERTISEMENT TVS Motor Company on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kadam Mobility to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers during the financial year 2025–26. TVS Motor stock closed at ₹2,748.60 today, down 0.54%. As part of the agreement, Kadam Mobility, a fleet and EV infrastructure platform, will roll out TVS King EV MAX vehicles in phases, starting in select pilot zones by the second quarter of the fiscal year. The deployment will expand gradually in both volume and route coverage across metro and Tier 1 cities. The collaboration is aimed at bolstering India's electric vehicle (EV) transition and promoting dignified employment, especially among women and underrepresented communities. Kadam plans to integrate the vehicles into its wider EV ecosystem, which includes charging infrastructure and driver training programmes. The vehicles will be integrated into Kadam Mobility's existing electric mobility ecosystem, which includes EV deployment, charging infrastructure, and driver training,' it said in a regulatory filing. The deployment will begin in Q2 of FY25–26 through phased rollouts in pilot zones, with a planned scale-up in both vehicle volume and route coverage over time. Kadam Mobility, an electric vehicle-first fleet and infrastructure platform, will incorporate the vehicles into its existing mobility ecosystem. This includes EV operations, charging infrastructure, and driver training programs. The TVS King EV MAX offers a certified range of 179 km and features Bluetooth connectivity via TVS SmartXonnect™, fast-charging capabilities, and a robust design suited for urban transportation needs. These vehicles will be used to provide affordable and reliable passenger services in various urban locations. Kadam Mobility also plans to use this deployment to generate employment opportunities, particularly focusing on women and underrepresented communities, as part of its commitment to inclusive mobility solutions. TVS Motor signs MoU with OOR Cabs to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers in Tamil Nadu
TVS Motor Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OOR Cabs Pvt. Ltd., a technology-driven mobility platform, to supply 500 TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheelers during the financial year 2025-26. This collaboration aims to support sustainable urban mobility in Tamil Nadu. Under the agreement, OOR Cabs will deploy the electric three-wheelers initially in Trichy for intra-city passenger services, with plans to expand operations to Madurai and Coimbatore. The integration of these vehicles into OOR Cabs' fleet aligns with efforts to promote cleaner and more efficient transportation solutions. The TVS King EV MAX features a range of 179 km on a full charge, Bluetooth connectivity via TVS SmartXonnect™, quick charging capabilities, and an ergonomic design tailored to improve passenger comfort. OOR Cabs' customized vehicles will include on-board drinking water facilities, thermal insulation on the roof for better cabin comfort, and mobile charging ports to enhance the passenger experience. OOR Cabs aims to gradually increase its electric vehicle fleet by adding 20 to 30 vehicles each month. The initiative also focuses on empowering both male and female drivers and creating sustainable livelihoods in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. This partnership supports Tamil Nadu's broader goals of advancing clean mobility and reducing urban emissions. The first batch of 10 TVS King EV MAX units was handed over to customers during a recent event in Trichy.
