This week's Gauteng weather forecast suggests a strong cold front is coming. The cold is expected to bring freezing mornings and icy winds to Johannesburg and Pretoria. Temperatures will drop significantly starting 20 May 2025, signalling the start of winter.
The rest of the week will be chilly with dry air and strong winds, especially in the middle of the week. Here's what to expect: Johannesburg: 4°C | 21°C
Pretoria: 6°C | 23°C
