Viral Video Shows The Making Of Adorable "Cat Bread". Internet Is In Love With It

The sweet scent of freshly baked goods wafting through the air is irresistible. Imagine sinking your teeth into a deliciously soft, cat-shaped loaf of bread that's almost too cute to eat. A food vlogger has done just that. After several failed attempts, Jeanelle finally perfected the art of making adorable cat bread, and the internet is loving it. In a video shared on Instagram, Jeanelle explained that her quest to bake the perfect cat bread started with a cat bread tin. When she couldn't find a perfect recipe for the mould, she made one of her own to perfectly fit the tin. Jeanelle said, "To test if this bread will fit, I am letting the dough rise for the first time inside the tin. I typically would do it in a separate bowl, but I was nervous that it wouldn't fit and I would have to do it all over again." Next, she carefully placed the dough back into the cat-shaped tin. After letting it rise for the second time, she popped it into the oven to bake. The timer ticked down, and finally the bread emerged, transformed into an adorable feline-shaped loaf, complete with perfectly formed cat ears. The result is nothing short of purr-fection! In the caption, she wrote, "I'm SO EXCITED TO FINALLY CRACK IT. It took me a couple of years to figure out, partly because of analysis paralysis and partly because I was too lazy to experiment after a few failed attempts." Someone commented, "Since I'm allergic, this is the closest I'd ever voluntarily put my body to cats." "Maybe you could marble in Black Sesame, so you could make like a black Tabby Cat? Loaf?" remarked a user.

Video of Mom and Dad Reuniting With Their Senior Cat After Vacation Will Make Anyone Cry

Our pets really are our family, so it's no surprise that they truly miss us whenever we're out of town. You can get the nicest pet sitters in the world, but they're still no substitute for their true parents, and there's nothing in the world like the feeling you get when your pet welcomes you home after you've returned from a long trip! At 18 years old, Luna the Tabby Cat can't jump up and rush to the door like she did when she was a young kitty, but that doesn't mean she loves her parents any less. Luna's parents captured the moment that they picked their senior kitty up from Grammie's house after coming back from vacation, and fair warning, her reaction is tear-jerkingly sweet. Little Luna is a bit deaf and a heavy sleeper, so it took a few moments before Mama Julie could rouse the senior cat from her deep slumber. As soon as she cracked open her green eyes, though, Luna recognized her parents and immediately broke out in a chorus of chatters and chirps, rolling over so her mom could pet her belly. Dad gently put his hand down by her, and Luna started bonking and nuzzling it with her noggin as much as she could, totally blissed out in her parents' presence. She looked like she'd been having a great time at Grandma's house, but this kitty was definitely ready to come home!It might be because Luna bears a striking resemblance to my own grey tabby baby, but this video had me choking up within seconds. The peace and contentment this happy girl has when her Mom and Dad around is so, so touching! Luna is far up there in cat years, but as soon as her pet parents came back for her, she turned into a baby all over again. At least I know I'm not alone in getting emotional, because Luna's reunion with her parents had tons of TikTokers in their feelings. "You know it's true love when you get the big gums rubbing on the hand," remarked @thebozoleum." "Joke's on you, I was already planning on crying today," quipped @ "I imagine she was dreaming and waking was even better than she imagined," said @twosenz. Cool, here I go crying again... Every pet responds to their parent going out of town a little differently. Obviously, if your pet has serious separation anxiety, they may need more intensive behavioral training, supportive care, and potentially even anti-anxiety medicine to help alleviate their nerves while you're away. But what if your pet does OK while you're on vacation, but you want to make sure you're doing everything you can to keep them comfortable? If you're just going away for a few days, you can usually get away with leaving pets at home along with a pet sitter coming in as needed to let them out, feed them, give them some play time, etc. (of course, you know your pet's needs better than I do). That time away from you can still be stressful, though, so try to make the space as comforting as possible. Leave out lots of toys and blankets, keep a few lights on (or turn them on remotely as needed if you can), and make sure their space is nice, clean, and comfortable. If we're talking longer trips, however, you're going to want to make sure that your pet has a little more socialization so they don't get lonely and stressed in your absence. Even cats, as independent as they are, get stressed when left alone for too long. If you're going to be out of town for closer to a week or more, you might want to consider a house sitter or dropping your pets off with a friend or family member like Julie did for Luna. Barring those options, you might even want to look into dropping your pet at a boarding facility: just do your research and make sure the place is clean, reputable, and well run!

Crafty Tabby Cat Shows Off Problem-Solving Prowess Opening Air-Fryer in Record Time

If ever you think your cat is plotting to take over the world, you may be on to something. They're too smart for their own good! One clever Tabby Cat named Loki is a prime example of why they shouldn't be left to their own devices. One day, they're napping peacefully and the next, they're learning how to open the air fryer, just like Loki. What's next—driving the car?! Loki's making such good use of his paws it makes you wonder what else he secretly knows. Watch as he opens the appliance with minimal effort, suggesting he's probably done this before! With the Instagram moniker @ and the bio, "the most chaotic cat on the internet," you already know what you're in for with this mischievous boy. He's always up to something, and for better or worse, his more than 712k followers can't help but love his antics, especially when it appears as though his skills are accumulating at a rapid pace! "One step closer to him making you potatoes," one person joked. "Bravo to Loki because I have that same air fryer and can barely get the drawer opened or closed," another wrote. "Well hopefully this means he will starting making some dinner," another added. Though Loki's new trick is only slightly alarming, at least he'll be able to tag in when it comes to prepping dinner!Having evolved over the years to be smart enough to survive, it's really no shock that Loki's picking up things his parents do. As natural observers, felines are pros at taking notes. PetMD notes that, while we can't measure a cat's IQ the same as humans, you can look at how "animals gather information, make decisions, and behave," to determine how smart they are. One study highlighted cats' "sense of permanence, suggesting when something is hidden, they understand it hasn't vanished. Their memory is well-developed and long-term, so if they initially forget what they're doing, they get right back to it. Cats really are incredibly intelligent! Likewise, cats can differentiate various quantities, longer and shorter spans of time, they can recognize specific voices and they'll look to their people for cues, responding to different moods. It's no wonder they're compared to a toddler-level of smarts! I mean, look at Loki. Whether he's training to take over the world or just the kitchen, he's doing big things! 🐶🐾🐾
