Ant and Dec reveal surprise new careers as they become co-owners of business

Duo Ant and Dec have become shareholders in a pizza dough company as they branch out from their TV presenting duties As if Ant and Dec didn't have enough dough already... they have now become bakery bosses. The TV presenting duo have teamed up with small business owners Amy and Chris Cheadle who specialise in frozen bakery products. ‌ The pair are now shareholders in their company The Northern Dough Co. The money-spinning deal will even see the two of them 'create and develop new products' for the company, as well as publicise them. ‌ Ant and Dec approached The Northern Dough Co. because they wanted to support a small business from the North that was at an early stage in its journey. They are fronting a new advertising campaign for the Lancashire company called Taste Mates, where the pair cook a wide variety of dishes. ‌ To launch the new tie-up, Ant and Dec filmed a tongue-in-cheek video in their boxer shorts. Ant says: 'I love making pizzas at home with my family and was already using Northern Dough Co when we started conversations with Amy & Chris about working with them. ‌ Yoko Ono in startling new evidence over claims she broke up The Beatles 'As soon as we met it was clear we had the same values and together we have some great ideas on how we can expand the business, it's very exciting and we can't wait to get started in our role as co-owners!' Dec adds: 'We love the Northern Dough Co ethos of celebrating the joy of eating at home and bringing people together. Whether it's a pizza party with mates or a Saturday night in front of the telly with your granny, everyone can get stuck in and make delicious pizzas. We are excited to celebrate all things dough through our partnership and social content.' Northern Dough Co. founders, Amy and Chris Cheadle said: 'It's not every day Ant & Dec's team drop you a line to ask if you'd be interested in exploring working together, but from the very first meeting it was clear just how well their personal values aligned with ours, and how easy it would be to partner and grow our business together.' Adding: 'As viewers, we've been entertained by Ant & Dec's TV shows from Byker Grove as teens, to watching Takeaway and I'm a Celeb with our own children, and it's that ethos of getting everyone together to enjoy a relaxing, feel-good experience that's at the heart of The Northern Dough Co. Gathering to eat food is everyone's favourite pastime, but cooking together to create an informal restaurant experience at home, makes it really special. We couldn't be more excited that Ant & Dec have joined us to bring the experience to even more people's homes, and we have really exciting plans for the coming months and years ahead.'

‘I tried the Chinese restaurant named best in London, and their best-seller isn't what you should be ordering'

Deliveroo just announced its top-rated restaurants of the year across the country, and London gets its own spotlight. The capital has an entire section dedicated to its best eats. While Deliveroo's overall winner - Independent Restaurant of the Year - happens to be in London, the city also boasts a range of other category champions. From pizza to fried chicken, each spot has been crowned best in its field. This year's Chinese food champion is a takeaway spot called Three Uncles. They have locations all over London, from Brixton to Camden, and St Paul's. READ MORE: Best restaurants and takeaways named after 160,000 votes I went to their Liverpool Street branch to see if the hype held up. I'm obsessed with Chinatown, so I didn't go in easily impressed. It's a casual spot, but not just a basic takeaway counter. The food comes in boxes, but there are some tables and counter seating available, and the décor is really sleek, with dark blue tiles and red neon signs. The first thing that stood out wasn't the food - it was the service. A staff member serving the customers clocked me looking for a table and quickly set one up just for me. Despite the lunchtime rush of office workers, the staff were warm and attentive. One customer was even greeted with a 'the usual?' - I had never seen a busy central London spot recognising a regular customer. The menu is small, which I always take as a good sign. No endless scroll of options here - just roast meats, rice or noodles, and a few dim sum classics, from baos to wontons. I went for their best-seller: roast duck on rice, with plum sauce on the side. To try a bit of everything, I also ordered char siu BBQ pork with Lo Mein noodles (egg noodles) and wontons. Each dish was around £14, so not the cheapest. But when I opened the boxes, I was shocked by the portion size - one dish easily could've fed two, and I couldn't even finish mine. The roast duck had beautifully crisp skin, and the rich meat paired incredibly with the sweet plum sauce. But the rice was underwhelming - sticky, plain, and the duck did not have enough sauce to drip on it and bring it to life. At that point, I was thinking - it's good, but 'best in London' good? Not yet. Then I tried the noodles, and everything changed. The egg noodles were thin and packed with flavour from the sweet char siu pork on top. There was a mystery sauce that added a savoury, salty depth without overwhelming the noodles. Jalapeños on the side gave it an unexpected kick, which spice lovers might adore. But what took it up a notch was a £1 extra ginger and spring onion sauce - I'd go back just for that dip. The wontons were another win - soft, tasty, and far from the greasy versions you often find at other Chinese spots in the city. It's that clean, non-oily finish packed with flavour that really sets Three Uncles apart. I've eaten in other Chinese restaurants that are on par with this one, but it's certainly delicious and worth a visit. And honestly, the woman taking orders might've been the best part of the whole experience. There's more on the menu I'd love to try next time - from lamb dumplings to a Char Siu Bao, and a two meats combo. I'll be back for round two, especially for those noodles. You can find Three Uncles in Liverpool Street, Brixton, Camden, St. Paul's, Ealing and Brent Cross. In Liverpool Street, they're located at 12 Devonshire Row, London EC2M 4RH. It's open from 11.45 am to 9 pm every day.

Takeaway review — promising ingredients but this restaurant drama is bland

The first dish served in Nathan Powell's tenure as the creative director of Liverpool's Everyman is his own play Takeaway. But service does not run smoothly in this drama, set in a family-run Caribbean restaurant in Liverpool called Hyltons. With a larger-than-life, yellow-walled set designed by Georgia Wilmot, this play has a vividly visual feel. Yet, though the ingredients seem flavourful, the final product fails to satisfy. A fundamental problem is that most of the actors are inaudible, despite the Everyman being a relatively small theatre. Key dialogue is lost, leaving the audience, for the early scenes, in a fog of confusion. Once our ears adjust to Amanda Huxtable's production, we learn that the takeaway was set up by Carol and her late husband

Paul Walker's daughter Meadow makes a nipple-popping display in topless shoot

's daughter Meadow displayed her runway physique in an edgy, topless shoot for Takeaway magazine. Meadow, 26, displayed her flat abs (and practically bore her nipples) in the sexy shoot that saw her model an array of outfits. In one sexy yet stylish look, a topless Meadow draped a denim jacket over her bare shoulders with the sleeves strategically covering her cleavage. She casually shoved a hand into the pockets of her jeans as she struck a relaxed pose in chunky white heels and her hair twisted into a braided ponytail. Another particularly revealing outfit saw Meadow - who is newly single after her divorce from Louis Thornton-Allan last year - rock a taupe bodysuit with an center cut-out that displayed her slim abs. The slim top also revealed she was not wearing any bra and displayed her nipples. She went topless in a double denim outfit The topless trend continued in another look that saw Meadow clad in a brown leather jacket, black skirt, and silver jewelry. In her accompanying interview with the magazine, the model revealed her hopes for a 'very wholesome life' with a 'farm in the countryside.' 'I want to be happy, healthy, and living on a farm in the countryside with animals. I want to have a balanced life and be successful without compromising my personal identity. I want to continue my philanthropic work and modeling and acting, but really I just dream of a very wholesome life surrounded by my friends and family.' She also opened up about her father, the late Paul Walker. Meadow was only 15 when her father died in 2013, aged 40, after the car he was traveling in smashed into a concrete lamppost and blew up in flames in California. A year later, Meadow launched a foundation inspired by her father's passion for the ocean, the Paul Walker Foundation, whose mission is to 'empower the next generation of Ocean Leaders', according to their website. Meadow has embraced her father's close connection to the sea and feels particularly close to him whenever she is in the water. 'It really stemmed from the fact that the ocean meant a lot to my dad, and a lot of my core memories are with him by the water. I started it when I was 16 with the goal of empowering and providing access to students pursuing marine biology through a scholarship program,' she told the outlet of the foundation. Elaborating on the 'core memories', she said: 'I grew up in Hawaii, and then we moved to Santa Barbara, so we were always by the ocean. I started swimming and scuba diving when I was really young. My father actually wanted to study marine biology when he was younger. 'After he passed away, I wanted to continue his legacy, not just of Fast and Furious but his personal interest and passion for the ocean. It was a huge part of our relationship. Whenever I'm in the water, I feel like I'm with him and it is really special.' Meadow also revealed the advice her father shared with her that has helped keep her grounded. 'When my dad passed away, there was so much attention on me, and I didn't really understand it at all,' she explained. 'He raised me fully outside of the industry and wasn't around when I entered the public eye when I started modeling at 22, but I always remember him telling me to keep my friends and family close. I refuse to Google myself or anything like that because I think it's a trap you can easily fall into.' The star embraced a more Western style with a floral print dress and leather ankle boots In May 2023, Meadow told E! that she receives signs from her father, over a decade after his death. She told the outlet: 'I swear whenever I'm doubting anything or whenever I'm in an argument with someone or anything, I start seeing four and seven everywhere. So I always know that it's him. 'Even yesterday, I was having a moment and then the clock bells started ringing. And I was like, "OK, it's all good, it's gonna be OK."' In following her famous father's legacy, Meadow landed a small role as a flight attendant in 2023's Furious X. 'For me this is super exciting and he would be amazed that this is happening,' she told the outlet of opportunity.
