Pamela Anderson Baked Sourdough Bread For 'The Naked Gun' Costar Liam Neeson — and He Shares His Review (Exclusive)

Liam Neeson is one tough cookie — but he has a soft spot for Pamela Anderson's baked goods. Speaking with PEOPLE while promoting the new comedy The Naked Gun, the former Baywatch actress, 58, revealed she baked her costar, 73, cookies and sourdough bread and left the treats for him in his dressing room. The Taken star was quite, well, taken by her talent in the kitchen. Asked how he'd rate her baking skills, Neeson calls them 'superb.' 'That sourdough bread was something else,' he adds. 'And I know the effort it takes.' Neeson admits he didn't return the favor due to his lack of kitchen skills. 'I'm so not a cook, nor a baker. I'm not. But I did appreciate the gesture very, very much.' As for what inspired Anderson to fire up the oven on location in Atlanta where they filmed, she says, 'I bake bread at home, and I have my garden. And I just felt like that was... I had a kitchen, so why not use it?' (Anderson previously hyped her bread in a conversation with Martha Stewart for Elle Magazine, explaining that her "really good" sourdough is thanks to her starter, which she named Astrid.) Anderson and Neeson are an unlikely comedic duo in The Naked Gun, an update of the classic 1988 slapstick comedy starring Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley. In this version (out Aug. 1), Neeson plays Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Nielsen's character. Like his namesake father, he's a bumbling lieutenant at L.A.'s Police Squad who must avert disaster. Anderson costars as femme fatale Beth Davenport, Drebin's love interest—and his deadpan partner in verbal volleying. ('U.C.L.A.?'Frank asks about Beth's alma mater while gazing at the city skyline. 'I see it every day,' she replies. 'I live here.') The two immediately hit it off when they got to work. 'We had a wonderful, natural chemistry, and it was a joy to watch and learn from a master,' Anderson says of working with Neeson. 'I really learned a lot from being on that set, and it was just a joy every day.' Neeson's first impression of Anderson was a positive one. 'I felt Pamela had no airs and graces or inflated ego, [she] seemed just sensitive and warm, open, vulnerable, beautiful,' he says. Their bond is forged in mutual respect — and carbohydrates. 'We're friends for life, like it or not,' quips the original article on People

Fantastic Trailers for Paul Thomas Anderson's ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER Starring Leonardo DiCaprio — GeekTyrant

Two new trailers have been released for writer and director Paul Thomas Anderson's ( Punch-Drunk Love , There Will Be Blood , Licorice Pizza ) latest film, One Battle After Another . The film boasts an impressive cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, Sean Penn, Alana Haim, Teyana Taylor, Wood Harris, Benicio del Toro, and Shayna McHayle. It has the feel of Taken , only grittier, as DiCaprio's character's daughter has been kidnapped, and he goes on the run to find her. One Battle After Another , formerly known as The Battle of Baktan Cross or Desert Highway or BC Project, is inspired by Thomas Pynchon's postmodern 1990 novel titled Vineland . The film's longline states, 'When their evil enemy resurfaces after 16 years, a group of ex-revolutionaries reunites to rescue one of their own's daughter.' This looks like it's going to be excellent. Check out the trailers below, and watch One Battle After Another when it's released in theatres on September 26th.

The Naked Gun release date as Liam Neeson gushes over Pamela Anderson

Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson are set to appear in the new Naked Gun movie, with the pair sharing some steamy scenes together The Naked Gun, one of the top blockbuster movies of this year, is already generating buzz amongst fans as it features Liam Neeson taking on the role of Frank Drebin Jr alongside Pamela Anderson as Beth, with the pair sharing some sizzling moments on screen. ‌ The picture acts as a follow-up to Naked Gun 33: The Final Insult, which hit cinemas in 1994. Originally, Ed Helms was set to take the leading part, but by 2021 there was enthusiasm for casting Neeson, who was eager to tackle a comedy role. ‌ Following production on the forthcoming picture, the Baywatch icon and Taken star have displayed considerable off-camera rapport, with Neeson and Anderson getting cosy at the premiere, reports the Express. ‌ Speaking to You Magazine recently, Neeson admitted one of his most enjoyable filming experiences was "the sex scenes" with Anderson, during which they worked with an intimacy coordinator. The Naked Gun hits theatres on August 1, with Neeson describing his co-star's audition footage as "incredibly sexy" and "funny". ‌ Anderson remarked that their connection was "important", with both stars agreeing it developed naturally. They laughed about how the intimacy coordinator needed to "go for coffee" as the sequences were "too hot". Both stars are single and the romantic speculation remains unverified. ‌ Neeson previously revealed whilst promoting the picture that he was "madly in love" with Anderson. He revealed to People: "With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with. ‌ "I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film." Anderson was full of praise for her co-star, stating: "He brings out the best in you... with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honour to work with him." Following the UK premiere of the film, fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, where Anderson was seen planting a kiss on Neeson's cheek. Neither of the stars have confirmed if they are dating in real life. The Naked Gun will hit cinemas on August 1.

The Baywatch star, 58, looked out of this world in a strapless purple gown with a flowing train as she joined Liam, 73, in London ahead of the film's release on August 1. ‌ She completed her outfit with dazzling jewellery and her usual glowing no-makeup look. Taken star Liam looked handsome in a grey suede suit, a black T-shirt, and black dress shoes. They looked comfortable as they held onto each other on the red carpet, with Pamela giving Liam a smooch on the cheek. ‌ ‌ Liam had his arm around her waist as she reached up to kiss him while putting her arm on his back for support. The two appeared to be in a world of their own as they posed for snaps and gazed at each other. Other stars at the premiere include Strictly Come Dancing's Nadiya Bychkova, Joe Blackman, The Only Way Is Essex's Junaid Ahmed and Michelle Heaton. The Naked Gun stars Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Busta Rhymes, Liza Koshy and Cody Rhodes were also in attendance. The 2025 instalment is directed by Akiva Schaffer and produced by Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins. ‌ Liam recently joked that filming the 'sex scenes' with Pamela was his favourite part of filming the latest instalment. He also commented on having an intimacy coordinator on set. "I'd never had one before. But she was in the background. There was no kind of, 'OK! Excuse me!'," he said. ‌ Pamela, who plays a nightclub singer who goes to Police Squad for help after her brother is murdered, said the intimacy coordinator knew when to walk away. She joked that the staff member stormed off as Liam claimed she was exasperated and said: "I can't take this! This is too hot for me. I'm going for coffee." ‌ Liam and Pamela had nothing but compliments for each other, with Liam previously telling People that he was "madly in love" with the former Playboy cover star. "She's just terrific to work with," he said. "I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film." And last month, Pamela said: "Our chemistry was clear from the start. We have the utmost respect for one another. I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming."
