Earlier this week, BBC bosses released a promo video of the professional dancers before the announcements for the celebrity line-up began. The latest announcement is YouTuber George Clarke. They captioned the video: "It's happening! Our #Strictly class of 2025 reveals begin tomorrow, tune-in to BBC One and iPlayer from 7pm!" However, it didn't take fans long to notice not all of the pros were in the video, leading them to question whether they were being paired with a celebrity this year. Neil, who has previously missed out on having a celebrity partner, was one of the dancers absent from the clip. Fans noticed Neil wasn't in the promo video Carlos Gu was another name missing, as well as Karen Hauer and Katya Jones. The comments come after Gorka Marquez told fans that he would only appear in the professional dance routines this year due to other work commitments. "Where is Gorka on the clip, hope he's it in," one fan quizzed, while another answered: "Yeah, he's in the group performances, but he has commitments to a Spanish show, so no celeb partner this year." "Where is Katya, Carlos and Neil," another echoed as one worried fan asked: "Where is Carlos and Neil." One went on: "Don't tell me Neil is missing out on a partner again?" In the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing, Neil was partnered with Toyah Willcox. This marked the first time in three years that Neil had been paired with a celebrity partner. He was previously partnered with Alex Scott in 2019 and Nina Wadia in 2021.
