Wacker Quay: Child dies at beauty spot after incident in water
A child has died at a Cornwall beauty spot after an incident in the services were called to Wacker Quay at Antony, Torpoint, after concerns were raised for a person in the water at about 18:00 BST on Quay forms part of the Tamar Valley landscape and provides free public access to the River and Cornwall Police said the child died at the scene and their death is not being treated as suspicious. A spokesperson for the force added the child's next of kin have been informed and will be supported by officers.

Donkey sanctuary set to close after 36 years as owners retire
