(Image: Newsquest) Detective Inspector Shaun Inkpen, of MCIT, said: 'Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the man who has died, and we are continuing to update them with the progress of the investigation. 'This incident has been the subject of an extensive investigation and we have now consulted with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), who have authorised the charges of both murder and preventing a lawful burial. 'This means the case will now be the subject of active court proceedings and it is vital that the justice system is allowed to follow its course. Therefore, it is also important to stress that there should be no further commentary or sharing of information online or on social media that could potentially prejudice these court proceedings. 'There will continue to be an increased police presence in the area while we continue with our investigation. "I would also encourage anyone with information or concerns to contact Dorset Police at or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250117622. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111."
