Krishna Darshan exhibition at Poompuhar showroom in Madurai
To mark the occasion of 'Krishna Jayanthi,' the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Corporation Limited has organised an exhibition titled 'Krishna Darshan' at Poompuhar Showroom near District Court on Melur road here.
Idols of Lord Krishna made of paper mache, clay, white wood, marble, oxidised aluminium and sandalwood handcrafted by artisans from places in and around Madurai, Tiruchi and Thanjavur are on display and are up for sale.
The exhibition which starts from August 7 would go on till August 16.
Also, interested people can buy Lord Vinayaga idols with prices ranging from ₹100 to ₹1 lakh.
