Comedian Tanyalee Davis brings the laughs to Ayr this August
A nine-day tour of Scotland is the only Tanyalee's UK tour this year. Comedian, storyteller and two-time TEDx speaker, Tanyalee Davis is bringing her solo tour show to Ayr this August. The show at Ayr Town Hall on Tuesday, August 26 is part of a nine-date tour of Scotland, organised by Aberdeen-based promoters Breakneck Comedy, which starts in Campbeltown on August 25 and ends in Larbert on September 2. The tour will come hot on the heels of Tanyalee's appearances at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and is her only UK tour this year. Tanyalee will be familiar to UK audiences thanks to her appearances on shows such as The John Bishop Show and Live At The Apollo. Tanyalee is the 2024 Guinness World Record holder for the shortest comedian. At 3'3' tall, she describes herself as "the Ferrari of comedy – low to the ground and kind of racy" and has entertained audiences around the world with stories of her life. Breakneck Comedy founder, Naz Hussain, said: "I'm delighted to be working with Tanyalee again, these are her only full-length shows in the UK this year, so it's really exciting to be able to bring her tour not just to cities like Aberdeen and Glasgow, but also to places like Laurencekirk and Campbeltown which aren't usually on people's tour schedules. "Tanyalee performs across the world and performed her one woman show in Vegas for six months, so audiences are in for something special with this tour." Naz said audiences can expect a night of unique humour, with a hefty dose of Tanyalee's trademark racy brand of comedy. He added: "Tanyalee is a real force of nature, she's bold, cheeky and a little bit naughty – it's going to be a really fun show!".

Tanyalee Davis will perform at Reid Hall on Friday, August 29, as part of her new UK tour.
