The move is said to reinforce Hilton's continued expansion in the Kingdom and adds to its growing presence in one of the world's most significant religious tourism destinations. The partnership helps Hilton reach its milestone of 100 hotels trading and in the pipeline across Saudi Arabia. Strategically located north of the central Haram area in Madinah, Diyar Ajwa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, offers direct pedestrian access and views of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, and will provide guests with a convenient and comfortable stay. The property also benefits from strong transport links, including proximity to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and connectivity via the Haramain High-Speed Rail, which connects Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah, the firm said. Hilton's Tapestry Collection has made its debut in Northern Ireland with The Marcus Portrush, a hotel that breaths new life into a landmark Victorian building. Hilton said a $15 million renovation preserved the original mosaic signage, decorative floor mosaics and tiled façade. Historical photographs displayed throughout the hotel show Portrush's heritage as a Victorian tourist resort, while the interior design draws inspiration from the surrounding coastline, blending a contemporary palette with nods to the natural landscape. The hotel is inspired by the fictional character Marcus, a comic-book-style adventurer. The menu offers reimagined classics, like Irish sirloin steak with bone marrow butter and Asian steak sauce. The Heritage Cocktail Bar features the Orra Margarita -- inspired by the winding beauty of Orra Drive, a scenic stretch through the Antrim Glens. Hilton unveils first Tapestry Collection hotel in Northern Ireland

Hilton has unveiled The Marcus Portrush, a Tapestry Collection hotel, marking the brand's foray into Northern Ireland. The property offers 80 rooms and is set in a location along the North Atlantic coastline. It is housed in a restored Victorian building that has been in the area for over 85 years, operating as a hotel and artisan bakery from 1895 until the 1980s. The £11m ($15.08m) renovation project has maintained the building's historic character, encompassing original mosaic signage and floor mosaics. The hotel's opening is strategically timed to coincide with the 153rd Open Championship, which will be held at the nearby Royal Portrush Golf Club on 13–20 July 2025. This will be the golf tournament's first return to Northern Ireland since 2019. Hilton UK & Ireland senior vice-president Stephen Cassidy said: 'Northern Ireland has seen a strong rise in tourism in recent years, drawing travellers from around the world to experience its unique charm. 'As the only internationally branded hotel in Portrush, The Marcus Portrush, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, offers high-quality accommodation with an authentic local touch, making it the perfect base for visitors eager to explore all that Northern Ireland has to offer.' The development of The Marcus Portrush is a result of a franchise agreement with Andras House, the largest hotel group in Northern Ireland.
