Tarhuna Victims Association calls for Libya to surrender suspects to ICC
Tarhuna Victims Association has called on Libyan authorities to hand over individuals wanted for human rights violations in Tarhuna to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for further investigations.
The request was made in a statement issued by the association on its Facebook page on Friday, coinciding with the International Criminal Justice Day observed annually on 17 July.
The association urged the Government of National Unity, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Attorney General, and the Ministries of Justice and Interior to take immediate action to execute international arrest warrants and surrender the suspects to the ICC. It further appealed for respect for the victims' families' will and their right to justice. News Tagged: Tarhuna Victims Association
