These Companies May Be Best Able to Handle High and Changing Tariffs
When the Drucker Institute began putting out its best-run companies list in 2017, it made sure that it included data on supply-chain management. The world, after all, was highly interconnected and risks such as weather events and geopolitical disruptions were growing fast.
Little, though, did anybody foresee just how fraught with uncertainty this function would become—a reality that prompted Robert Handfield, executive director of the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative at North Carolina State University, to give these metrics a new moniker this year: the Tariff-Resilience Index.
