‘Serious' pedestrian collision near Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal, police say

Emergency crews are responding to a 'serious' pedestrian collision near the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal Wednesday, according to police.
Few details have been confirmed, including the number of injuries, but the West Vancouver Police Department has asked the public to avoid the area as the situation unfolds.
Witnesses told CTV News they saw several ambulances in the community, as well as a helicopter overhead.
The incident happened before the scheduled start of an event called Taste of the Bay, billed as a showcase for local restaurants and businesses.
In a social media post, the Horseshoe Bay Business Association said the event has been cancelled pending further notice, citing an 'extremely unfortunate' and 'unforeseen' incident.
