The announcement came alongside its June quarter results, which showed a double-digit rise in board of Tata Investment Corporation on Monday approved the sub-division of its equity shares in a 1:10 ratio, from one share with a face value of Rs 10 to ten fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of Re 1 its exchange filing, the company said the stock split was designed 'to make the equity shares of the company more affordable for the retail investors and to encourage wider participation in the company's ownership'. The Tata Group-firm said that the sub-division is expected 'to improve the liquidity of the equity shares of the company in the stock market'.The decision is subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot, in addition to any required statutory or regulatory clearances. The company said it would announce the record date for the stock split 'in due course', once all approvals are in is the first time Tata Investment has undertaken a stock split since listing. The company last offered bonus shares in 2005, in a 1:2 ratio, according to Trendlyne Investment also reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 2025. Consolidated profit after tax rose 11.6% year-on-year to Rs 146.30 crore, compared to Rs 131.07 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 145.46 crore, up 2.1% from Rs 142.46 crore in stock has advanced 6.1% year-to-date and is up 21.6% over the past 12 months. In the last one month alone, it has gained nearly 8%.From a technical perspective, Tata Investment shares are trading above all eight of their key simple moving averages, including the 5-day, 10-day, 20-day, 30-day, 50-day, 100-day, 150-day, and 200-day levels, signalling sustained bullish momentum across Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 65.2, indicating that the stock is approaching overbought territory but remains within a neutral range. Tata Investment stock split: The Tata Group firm — Tata Investment Corporation — on Monday, August 4, announced its board approval of a stock split in the ratio of 1:10. The company's board of directors also approved the financial results for the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year, along with sub-division of shares. As a result, Tata Investment share price spiked 4% in intraday deals. The company said its board approved the sub-division of one equity share of the company having a face value of ₹ 10/- each fully paid-up, into 10 equity shares having a face value of ₹ 1/- (Rupee One only) each, fully paid-up. The company will undertake the stock split by alteration of the Capital Clause of the Memorandum of Association of the Company and the relevant capital clause in Articles of Association of the Company, subject to approval of the Shareholders by way of Postal Ballot and any regulatory/statutory approvals, as may be required under applicable laws, it said in a filing with the exchanges today.

Tata Investment Corporation Q4 results drag stock 3% as PAT slips 38% YoY
Tata Investment share price today: Shares of Tata Investment lost 2.7 per cent in trade, logging an intraday low at ₹6,227.55 on the BSE. The stock slipped after the company released its Q4FY25 results. At 1:19 PM, Tata Investment shares were trading 1.98 per cent lower at ₹ 6,275 per share on the BSE. In comparison, the BSE Sensex was up 0.28 per cent at 79,627.22. The market capitalisation of the company stood at ₹31,813.82 crore. The 52-week high of the stock was at ₹8,075.9 per share and the 52-week low of the stock was at ₹ 5,147.15 per share. Tata Investment Corporation Q4 results The company in its fourth quarter under review reported a consolidated net profit of ₹37.72 crore as compared to ₹60.47 crore a year ago, translating to a decline of 37.6 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y). Its revenue for the quarter stood at ₹16.43 crore as compared to ₹57.11 crore a year ago. Tata Investment Corporation dividend The company's board also recommended a dividend of ₹27 or 270 per cent per share of ₹10 each, which shall be paid after the annual general meeting (AGM), subject to approval of the shareholders of the company at the ensuing AGM. Apart from the dividend, Tata Investment's board also gave a nod to the re-appointment of Rajiv Dube as an Independent Director of the company for a second term of 5 years with effect from October 15, 2025.
