Mobile man arrested after downtown shooting, police say
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officials have arrested a man after a Sunday morning shooting left two people injured and four vehicles shot into.

According to an MPD news release, 22-year-old Taurean Richardson was arrested on Monday, Aug. 11.
Officials said they were called to the area of St. Francis Street and Franklin Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.
INCIDENT LOCATION:
When officers arrived, they said they found that two men had been taken by personal vehicle to local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers also found that six vehicles were struck by gunfire.
During their investigation, officers found that Richardson not only fired shots but also stole someone's cellphone, according to an MPD news release.
'Investigators learned there was an exchange of gunfire between other individuals during the incident, resulting in the victim's injuries and damage to four other vehicles,' read the release.
MPD officials said that more arrests are expected.

Richardson is charged with first-degree robbery and two counts of discharging a gun into an unoccupied/occupied vehicle.
