When it comes to fandoms, Swifties are very particular about Taylor Swift covers. After all, who could compete with the original? Well, as it turns out, Mumford & Sons can!
On Tuesday, July 22, the popular folk rock band, consisting of Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Ted Dwane, and Chris Maas, performed an incredible cover of Swift's "Cowboy Like Me."
The concert was held at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre in Colorado, and fans couldn't help but share the magical moment on social media. Taking to TikTok, one user uploaded a video, calling it "a religious experience."
"I would have died dead," one person replied. "My dream date ... cute," added another, referencing a popular line from the last season of Love Island USA.
"Oh my God, I would be crying and screaming," a third user chimed in, while a fourth echoed, "I WOULD HAVE BEEN SOBBING."
If you're a Taylor Swift, then you already know that the pop star, 35, has a longstanding relationship with Mumford & Sons.

Swift and the British musicians worked together on her 2020 album Evermore, with Marcus Mumford providing vocals on "Cowboy Like Me."
Marcus, 38, also joined Swift during the Las Vegas leg of the Eras Tour to perform the track live for the first time.
In July 2023, Mumford & Sons also performed "Cowboy Like Me" with Maggie Rogers. According to Billboard, ahead of the encore, Marcus joked, "All there is left to do, the only choice we have, is to play a Taylor Swift song.'
