Former Mumbai City FC manager Jorge Costa dead at 53 after heart attack

Former Mumbai City FC manager Jorge Costa, the current sporting director of FC Porto, passed away on Tuesday afternoon at 53 due to a cardiac arrest, the club confirmed. Known as the 'Beast,' Costa led the Islanders in the Indian Super League for two seasons, between 2018 and 2020, finishing third and fifth in the league, respectively. He played 383 matches with Porto, lifting the UEFA Cup in 2003, the Champions League in 2004, and eight league titles with the club.
