ESPN anchor Elle Duncan found a very... illustrative way to describe the lack of defense during Saturday night's WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis.
During halftime coverage, Duncan quipped about the absolute absence of defense during the point-heavy game between Team Caitlin Clark and Team Napheesa Collier. It's, well, pretty NSFW. So, be advised.
"We hope it gets a little bit more competitive," Duncan said. "Because like a girls' trip to Cancun, right now, there's no D."
Oh dear! We're guessing the higher-ups at ESPN and maybe the FCC probably weren't thrilled about this one!
That's a pretty great line from Duncan, but it probably came with some raised eyebrows from fans (and custom parental earmuffs for kids) at home.
Duncan may get some attention from ESPN for this NSFW quip if the powers that be don't have a sense of humor, but it was worth it for the laughs.
