Trio of NL Regiment rookies heading to Team Canada's U17 development camp
The province's new major junior club will be well represented at this weekend's Team Canada Under 17 Development Camp in Oakville, Ontario with a trio of players selected to showcase their skills alongside the best young players in the country.

All three of the Newfoundland Regiment's draft picks from the 2025 QMJHL Draft have earned themselves a camp roster spot, including the club's fifth overall pick, St. John's native Ben Veitch, sixth overall pick and Conception Bay South native Quinn Norman and eighth overall pick, Nova Scotia's Phenwick MacLean.
