PNAGS 2025: East Coast qualifiers crown state champions
PETALING JAYA: The Perodua National Amateur Golf Series (PNAGS) 2025 witnessed fierce competition in its East Coast qualifiers involving Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang recently.
At Kelantan Golf & Country Club, four-handicapper Nazrin Kassim emerged victorious in Medal A with a 75, earning him the captaincy for Team Kelantan in the national grand final this September.
Meanwhile, at Bukit Besi Golf Club in Kuala Dungun, Mohd Firdaus Ahmad carded a 76 to clinch Terengganu's Medal A title, also earning the role of team captain for his state.
In Pahang, former World Amateur Golf Championship (WAGC) winner Mohd Rizal Mohmad Sahibek showed his class with a 73 at Royal Pahang Golf Club, overcoming a field of 108 players.
Winners from categories Medal A through E from all three states will now advance to the national finals in Subang this September.
Perodua East Coast Regional Manager Imran Wan Ibrahim presented the prizes to all winners.
The tournament, sanctioned by the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) and Tourism Malaysia, is organised by Delta World and sponsored by Perodua.
