Actor Suriya in Hyderabad with daughter Diya for Venky Atluri's upcoming film shoot
Actor Suriya was recently seen in Hyderabad, and this time, he wasn't alone. In a rare public sighting, the Tamil star was seen with his daughter Diya, much to the delight of fans. The actor is in the city to begin work on his upcoming film, tentatively titled 'Suriya 46', directed by Venky Atluri. Suriya kept it casual in a grey T-shirt, while Diya sported a blue outfit and was all smiles as she walked beside her father.

Suriya, who reached Hyderabad on Sunday, attended the wedding reception of Nagarjuna's younger son Akhil Akkineni, and Zainab Ravdjee. Diya, however, did not accompany him to the event. The actor attended the celebration with Venky Atluri and was seen posing for pictures with the newlyweds, extending his wishes to the couple.

On the work front, Suriya was last seen in the Tamil film 'Retro', directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film also starred Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and Vidhu. Produced by Stone Bench Films and 2D Entertainment, 'Retro' grossed over Rs 80 crore worldwide. Despite high expectations ahead of its release, the film faced mixed word-of-mouth and stiff competition from other new releases, ultimately delivering a decent box office completing 'Retro', the actor has given the nod to two more projects that are yet to be titled. He has already begun shooting for a film with RJ Balaji, which also stars Trisha Krishnan.
