This was stated by dean of biosciences and health research, head of Koita Centre for Digital Health, Anurag Agarwal from Ashoka University during his lecture on 'Is AI the new language of biology?' held at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute during the Technology Day celebrations on the campus on the critical importance of AI in biomedical sciences and technology, Agarwal shared that giving the right prompt is essential while using AI. "Critical and intelligent prompt commands would be helpful in identifying research priorities and shaping the healthcare landscape. The prompt in AI means to give a cue to a computer to help it focus on a specific topic, task, or purpose. A prompt can be a passage of text, a word, or even an image. A writing prompt is a type of assessment or activity that directs a computer to write about a given topic in a certain way," said institute's annual report for 2024-2025 was also released, showcasing the strides made in the realm of drug research and development . The scientists of CDRI, research scholars, inventors of different technology and those who successfully filed their patents were also felicitated on this occasion.
