TS EAMCET Counselling 2025: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the seat allotment results for phase 2 of the TS EAMCET (TG EAPCET) 2025 counselling on July 29. Candidates who took part in this phase can access their allotment status by logging into the official website, via the 'Candidates Login' section. Those who have been allotted seats must complete the tuition fee payment and self-reporting process online between July 30 and August 1, 2025. Following self-reporting, candidates are also required to physically report to their assigned colleges between July 31 and August 2, 2025, to proceed with the admission formalities. The colleges will finalise and update the joining details by August 3, 2025. – Go to the official website: – On the homepage, click on the link which says 'TS EAMCET 2025 Provisional Allotment Result.' – Log in using your credentials. – Click on 'Show Allotment' to view your result. Candidates who missed the first and second phases can submit their information and process fee payments online on August 5. Certificate verification for those who have already booked slots in the final phase will take place on August 6, followed by the exercise of web options between August 6 and 7. Option freezing will occur on August 7. The provisional seat allotment results will be available on or before August 10 on the official portal. TG EAMCET 2025 Counselling: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) today, July 18 will release the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TG EAMCET) 2025 counselling provisional seat allotment against the first phase today. Students seeking admission to BE, BTech and Pharmacy courses will have to login at the TS EAMCET official website – for to check the TS EAMCET provisional seat allotment result against round 1. According to the data shared while releasing the TG EAPCET mock seat allotment list, out of 94,059 candidates who registered for the first phase of engineering admissions, 77,154 candidates have received seat allotments in the mock round, while 16,905 candidates did not get any provisional seat. Around 5,900 engineering seats remained vacant across 172 participating colleges after the mock seat allotment list released on July 13. TSCHE officials had advised candidates who did not receive allotments in the mock round to revisit their web options and include preferences to improve their prospects in the final round. After the final allotment results are announced, candidates allotted seats must pay the tuition fee and complete the self-reporting process online between July 18 and July 22, 2025. Candidates who fail to pay the fee and report within the given time frame will forfeit their allotted seat. The Telangana EAPCET is held for admission to various undergraduate programmes in engineering, agriculture and pharmacy in colleges in Telangana. EAPCET results out, still no clarity on engineering fee this year
Hyderabad: Even after the results of the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) were announced, parents are still waiting for clarity on engineering fees at private colleges for the academic years 2025–26 and 2027–28, as the govt has not yet finalised the process of revising fees. The process may take some time, as the Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC), which oversees admissions and fee structures, has been asked by the govt to explain why only a few colleges were allowed to increase fees by over 70%, while others continue to offer courses at a minimum fee of around Rs 35,000 to Rs 45,000. "About 10 to 15 colleges were granted permission to raise fees by over 70% based on the financial documents they submitted. Some of these colleges have even exceeded the Rs 2 lakh mark per year," a source said. Parents have expressed concern, saying the govt should have finalised the fee structure before announcing the EAPCET results . Choosing a college becomes difficult without knowing the costs involved. "My son took various entrance exams and secured a decent rank in the Telangana EAPCET, but I'm worried that fees might increase exponentially this year. They have raised concerns about whether these institutions are compromising on quality or simply managing to provide education at an affordable cost. "TAFRC has been asked to look into these issues and provide fresh recommendations," said an official. On the other hand, college managements have voiced concerns that students may start considering institutions in other states. "Only those who rely on fee reimbursement schemes will wait. Others have better options elsewhere, especially since fees in many colleges here will exceed Rs 1 lakh starting this year," said KVK Rao, general secretary of the All India Self-Financing Technical Institutions Federation. He added that fee revisions are based on audited financials submitted by colleges, many of which have shown significant investments in infrastructure in recent years to justify higher fees.
