I love devices that make cooking, reheating and baking quick and easy, so I was excited to review the Ninja Crispi.
As I unboxed the gadget, I was immediately impressed. The design is compact, sleek and surprisingly lightweight. Everything from the PowerPod to the TempWare borosilicate glass containers came neatly packed and thoughtfully organized.
It was simple and easy to put together, and within minutes, I was ready to start cooking.

For the first part of my meal, I decided to try the Air Fryer mode to cook two chicken breasts. I seasoned the breasts and placed them onto the large crisper plate inside the big batch 4-quart container.
Then, I attached the PowerPod with the adapter, selected the Air Fry mode and pressed start. It was super simple.
I liked being able to watch the food cook right in front of me, thanks to the glass container. This made it easy to check on it and adjust the timing if needed.
Once the chicken was fully cooked, I removed the PowerPod and adapter to reveal my meal. Since the chicken was cooked in a glass container with heat-safe fixed feet, I was able to easily transport it from the counter to the table and serve it straight from the dish.
Then, I decided to try the Recrisp option to reheat some leftover pizza in the small-batch 6-cup container on the small crisper plate. This container size does not require the use of the adapter.

In the end, my meal was cooked quickly and easily — and in far less time than I imagined. From prep work to cooking, the entire process took less than 25 minutes.
Cleanup was also super simple. I served the food directly from the glass containers, and afterward, just popped most of it into the dishwasher. The containers, crisper plates, adapter and lids are all dishwasher safe, making the whole process seamless from start to finish.
