I had threesome with another woman and my dead husband's ghost after becoming a widow – I felt his presence as we romped

Nicky's female lover also took a liking to her late husband GHOSTED I had threesome with another woman and my dead husband's ghost after becoming a widow – I felt his presence as we romped Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) NICKY Wake and her husband Andy had always dreamt of having a threesome. But when Andy tragically died of Covid in 2020, the widow wanted to honour his desires, and even found a way for her late husband to be there. 6 Nicky Wake explored threesomes after losing her husband Andy Credit: EMMA PHILLIPSON - Commissioned by The Sun 6 Andy passed away in 2020 after complications with COVID Credit: Jam Press/Nikki Wake/Widows Fire Dating 6 She then slept with a woman for the first time and felt her husband's 'presence' join them as she left his photo on the night stand Credit: Jam Press/Nikki Wake/Widows Fire Dating Nicky has spoken candidly about a phenomenon known as widow's fire, which is an increase in libido that can take place following the death of a partner. Her husband Andy, whom she married in 2002, always spoke about wanting a threesome which she also fantasised about. But it wasn't until after his untimely death that she made it a reality, connecting with another woman who knew about her widowed status, and also found her late husband attractive. She went on to rediscover her sexuality by sleeping with the woman with Andy's picture present in the room and said she 'felt his presence'. LIFELONG FANTASY 'I used to joke that I'd treat him to it for his 60th birthday,' says mum-of-one Nicky, from Manchester. 'The truth is, I identify as bisexual, so it was also a fantasy of mine. 'I was always a little hesitant about introducing a third person into what was a deeply loving and fulfilling relationship, but as a one-off for a special occasion, it felt like it could be fun and memorable for both of us.' The 53-year-old explained that she and her late husband Andy, who died aged 54, had very nearly made the fantasy a reality on a few occasions. Once at a naturist beach in Jamaica when they got to know a flirty American couple and again at a New Year's party. But on both occasions, they never actually went through with it. Horrifying moment Temptation Island star cheats on girlfriend with steamy shower She says: 'If we were going to go for it, I assumed we'd either use a specialist dating site or perhaps hire an escort. 'Tragically, Andy then suffered a series of catastrophic heart attacks that led to a severe brain injury, leaving him with no capacity. 'He was only 54. We lost him to Covid in 2020 when he was in a care home. 'Before Andy became ill, we had a passionate and satisfying sex life. I couldn't imagine never feeling that again. 'About a year after he passed, and four years after his initial diagnosis, I started dating again at 49.' BISEXUAL DATING Nicky, like many modern daters, looked for new connections online and said she listed herself as bisexual on a dating website. She says: 'I'd had relationships with women in the past, and I wasn't ready to be intimate with another man. 'Andy had been the only one for 20 years. It felt less intimidating to connect with a woman. 'I was honest about being newly widowed, nervous, out of practice, and said that this would be my first experience since Andy.' 6 Nicky and Andy married in 2002 and went on to have one child together Credit: Jam Press/Nikki Wake/Widows Fire Dating 6 She says they often spoke about having a threesome but never got round to it Credit: Jam Press/Nikki Wake/Widows Fire Dating What is widow's fire? WIDOW'S - or widower's - fire is a term for a strong desire for sex following the death of a partner. Experts say the phenomenon is normal and can be a natural part of the grieving process for many people. There are many kinds of loss experienced when a partner dies and this includes the lack of sex and sexual intimacy, at a time when you may crave physical comfort. The hormones released by desire and sex are also a way to ease the pain of loss, as well as a distraction from the emotional distress and a chance to feel 'alive'. Some people report feeling all consumed by the need to have sex with someone - and that can come with feelings of guilt and shame. It wasn't long before Nicky got lucky on the website and met an 'incredibly kind' woman. Nicky says: 'We arranged a dinner date where I invited her back to mine for coffee and one thing led to another. 'She thanked me for being open, and told me she'd be honoured to help me feel something other than grief. 'She also reassured me that Andy would want me to rediscover my sexuality. 'As we moved to the bedroom, she noticed his picture and said what a beautiful photo it was. I felt his presence as we had sex Nicky Wake 'She added, 'If he were here, I'd have happily slept with you both.' 'She gently reassured me again not to feel guilty. SEXUAL PRESENCE 'I don't believe in a literal afterlife, but I felt his presence as we had sex. I often do, especially in moments of transition. 'This felt like a step into a future I hadn't imagined, one he'd absolutely support. 'I could almost hear him say, 'You deserve joy. Just don't forget me.' 'I never will. He was my soulmate.' Nicky now identifies as a polyamorous bisexual and said she has a few ongoing relationships with multiple people. She advises any other widowers to not live the remainder of their lives with regrets as 'life is short and precious'. Nicky, who has founded a dating website specifically for widowers called Widows Fire, added: 'Above all, be open about your situation and your desires.'

Kyle Walker caught watching Netflix show about cheaters as he catches Ryanair flight to UK

England defender Kyle Walker jumped on a budget flight from Milan to Manchester and his choice of on-board entertainment didn't go unnoticed by his fellow passengers Football star Kyle Walker was seen watching a show about cheaters as he took a low-cost flight back to the UK. The former Manchester City right-back was returning to the city from Italy, where he is currently playing for AC Milan. He jumped on a Ryanair flight back to England, and his choice of programme to kill some time on the three-hour trip caught other travellers' eye. ‌ Seen with his laptop out enjoying Temptation Island, the England full-back was engrossed in the hit Netflix show which centres around people having their fidelity tested. Kyle, attempting to keep a low profile in a black cap, was seen signing autographs on board and having photos with fans on the flight on Sunday. ‌ The footballer has fathered two children with reality TV star Lauren Goodman - son Kairo, four, and two-year-old daughter Kinara. He had a less than impressive explanation for the reason he has cheated on wife Annie Kilner multiple times over the years they've been together. She is trying her best to rekindle things with the footballer, and has been looking after the children at their Cheshire mansion while Kyle works away in Italy after transferring to Milan in the January transfer window. Just last month, he was caught partying with two models in Milan while Annie was back home. Annie has reportedly laid down new ground rules in light of Kyle's night out. He apologised after news of him fathering Lauryn's second child was exposed and said he made "idiot choices and idiot decisions", insisting that the "only person to blame is me". He said in the statement: "What I've done is horrible and I take full responsibility. Tension bubbled once again between Kyle and Annie last month when he was spotted in the Living Room at the Casa Cipriani Milano hotel until the early hours of 26 February, before moving to the Tocqueville 13 nightclub with the models and the rest of his entourage. Despite spending thousands at the club, a source told the Mirror that Kyle's connection to the models was strictly "platonic," and that Kyle left the venue hours before the two women did. 'Annie has decided she's going to give it another go but he needs to realise he has to be incredibly careful because even the most innocent things can come back to bite him,' a source claimed to OK! of her reaction to his partying. Annie and Kyle got married in 2022 after a 12 year relationship, having met as teenagers in their Sheffield hometown, but their long relationship almost came to an end due to the news he fathered two children with Lauryn. In January, the Mirror revealed that the couple had put their "divorce" on hold and were going to try to make things work, after it was reported in October that Annie was allegedly fighting to get half of Kyle's eye-watering £27 million fortune.

EXCLUSIVE Kyle Walker jets back to Manchester on a RYANAIR flight as England star visits wife Annie Kilner during break from Milan

Kyle Walker opted for the budget option when making a late-night dash to Manchester just hours after playing for AC Milan at the San Siro. The 34-year-old, who returned to the Rossoneri squad for their 2-0 win over Venezia following surgery on a broken elbow, was spotted on a Ryanair flight from Milano Malpensa Airport to the UK. The defender's decision to move to Italy came amid family drama off the pitch, with Walker fighting for his marriage with the mother of four of his children, Annie Kilner, after also fathering two kids with his influencer ex-mistress Lauryn Goodman. Kilner and their children have made regular trips to Italy but have remained in the UK. Walker took up a spot at the very front of the plane and was, ironically, seen watching an episode of the Netflix reality TV show Temptation Island. The program sees couples travel to a tropical island to have their fidelity tested. The England international signed autographs for the cabin crew and was 'quite pleasant' according to a fellow passenger on the flight. He also exchanged messages with his Three Lions colleague and former City team-mate Jack Grealish. It follows reports last month that Walker upset his wife when he went partying with two Serbian models in Milan, having spent the day with his family before their flight back home. The pair reunited at their home in Cheshire shortly after Walker's night of partying, and the defender was in surprisingly good spirits. Shortly after arriving at the San Siro, Walker told GQ of his delight to have a fresh start and 'solely concentrate' on his football, away from the antics which caused distraction while at Manchester City. It came after Mail Sport revealed that Walker stopped Goodman relocating to Italy ahead of his move to AC Milan by refusing to allow her to rent out her Sussex mansion. The influencer, mother of the defender's two love children, intended to bankroll her move with the proceeds from a rental agreement, but Walker - who owns the £2.4m property - rejected the proposal. Goodman, 33, hoped to use the money to rent a place in Milan in order for Walker to be close to their two children Kairo, four and 16-month-old daughter Kinara. But the England defender, via his lawyers, told Goodman renting out her five-bedroom Sussex mansion was a no-go, saying if she did want to move out, the property would have to be sold. A source said: 'Kyle just laughed when he heard of Lauryn's proposal and booted it out straight away.' Goodman had previously expressed a desire to move to Dubai when Walker was initially linked with a transfer to the lucrative Saudi league after he told City boss Pep Guardiola of his intentions of moving abroad. But after agreeing a deal with AC Milan, Lauryn changed tact, telling pals she would follow Kyle 'anywhere' in a desperate bid for him to connect with their children, and no doubt deliberately irk his wife Annie Kilner. If Walker was hoping his private life would quickly cease to be a topic of discussion, he would have been devastated by the news revealed by the Mail on Sunday, that Goodman is planning a tell-all autobiography. In March, sources close to Goodman said she is in the early stages of the book and has been hunting for a ghostwriter. To make matters worse for the Walker family, she is also in talks to appear in a documentary for Channel 4 about badly behaved footballers. A friend told the MoS: 'Lauryn has been wanting to do a book for some time. She has been talking about it and asking writers to pen it for her. 'As we know, she does not hold back when she wants to say something she wants out there, so it is likely to cause Kyle and Annie yet another headache. 'They have been trying to move on from all of this but with a book on its way, it will be pretty impossible. Lauryn doesn't seem to want to live a quiet life.' Goodman told Kilner in December 2023 that her second child, a daughter named Kinara, was Walker's, along with her son Kairo, five. Kilner then threw Walker out of their family home in Cheshire, but three months later they began to repair their marriage. In October last year, she served him with divorce papers but friends of the couple insist they are trying to make their relationship work. On the pitch, Walker has made a big impression for Milan and featured in 11 matches in his first two months. The side are a long way off the Champions League qualification places but they could still get their hands on silverware in the form of the Coppa Italia. Milan have a £4.2million option to make Walker's loan deal permanent at the end of the season but, based on the defender's recent comments, a return to the Etihad remains a possibility. 'After I said my goodbyes, Pep [Guardiola] got up and spoke and said a really nice message to me, just saying thank you for everything,' Walker said on his BBC podcast this month. 'But listen, it's not over. I'm just on loan here. I've got to take that into consideration that I can go back. Obviously, both parties need to come to an agreement come the end of the season and. The chapter's not fully closed, we'll see what happens.'

How Netflix has been able to skirt effects of Trump's tariffs

Netflix co-CEO Gregory Peters isn't concerned about the on-demand streaming service despite growing concerns about the economy, saying that the entertainment industry has proven to be "resilient" in tough periods. "We also take some comfort in the fact that entertainment historically has been pretty resilient in tougher economic times," Peters said in the company's first-quarter earnings report. He added that "Netflix specifically also has been generally quite resilient, and we haven't seen any major impacts during those tougher times, albeit, of course, over a much shorter history." This comes as analysts question whether President Donald Trump's tariffs could push the U.S. into a recession, forcing consumers to reconsider their spending on streaming services. Netflix Notches 70 Million Monthly Active Users On Ad-supported Plan However, Peters said the company's low-cost ad plan, starting at $7.99, that is available in its largest markets "also gives us more resilience." Netflix's lower-priced, ad-supported tier, which launched in late 2022, has proven to be popular among consumers, as it accounts for 55% of its new sign-ups in countries where it is available. Read On The Fox Business App Netflix Quarterly Results Beat Wall Street Targets, Revenue Outlook Upbeat Peters said the company has been paying close attention to "consumer sentiment and where the broader economy is moving" but there isn't anything significant to note. During the three-month period ending in March, Peters said that customer retention has been "stable and strong." He also added that the company's most recent price changes have been in line with expectations and that "engagement remains strong and healthy." Netflix exceeded Wall Street expectations for quarterly results and offered a bullish revenue outlook on Thursday, signaling confidence amid the economic uncertainty. Netflix reported revenue of $10.54 billion for the first quarter, edging past analysts' estimates of $10.52 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG. Diluted per-share earnings of $6.61 exceeded consensus estimates of $5.71. The company released hits such as the limited series "Adolescence," drama thriller "Zero Day" and the unscripted series "Temptation Island" during the quarter. The company projected revenue would rise to $11.04 billion for April through June, above the analyst consensus of $10.90 billion, "driven primarily by membership growth and higher pricing." Netflix has more than 300 million global subscribers. In January, the company reported it had added a record 18.9 million subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2024.
