Sa'ada Tender Committee reviews key projects, approves new initiatives for 1447 AH
Sa'ada - Saba: Sa'ada Governorate Tender Committee, led by governor Mohammed Awad, held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the progress of ongoing projects for the years 1445-1446 AH and to approve new projects planned for 1447 AH. The session, attended by Secretary-General of the Governorate's Local Council Mohammed al-Emad and other officials, focused on several critical development initiatives. Among the key decisions was the approval to include Sa'ada Old City Wall Project in the list of projects for 1447 AH. The project will be carried out in phases, following a detailed study to be reviewed by the relevant authorities. The committee also examined various service, health, and agricultural projects, approving the submission of remaining budget balances from 1444 to 1446 AH to the Tender Committee for allocation. In addition, the committee authorized a study to address necessary improvements for the road connecting the vicinity of al-Salam Hospital to the Specialized Hospital intersection. The study's findings will be forwarded to the Road Maintenance Fund for implementation. Governor Awad highlighted the importance of conducting a comprehensive study on emergency projects, which will be executed in multiple phases to meet urgent needs within the governorate. Jawf opens bids for wheat harvesting equipment
Jawf - Saba: The Tender Committee in Jawf province, headed by Governor Faisal Haider, convened on Tuesday to open the tender envelopes for the procurement and supply of agricultural equipment and machinery specifically for wheat harvesting. This initiative falls under the first phase of the locally funded Agricultural Expansion Project in the province. During the meeting, attended by Yahya al-Quh, Chairman of the Services Committee; Mahdi al-Dhamin, Head of the Agricultural Sector; and representatives from the bidding companies, the Tender Committee approved the referral of the submitted bids to the Technical Analysis Committee. This committee will be responsible for a thorough review and evaluation of the offers based on the established terms and criteria outlined in the tender documents. Governor Haider emphasized the importance of strictly adhering to the specifications detailed in the tender documents. He also directed that the analysis results be promptly submitted to the Adjudication Committee for the completion of contracting and procurement procedures in accordance with the relevant legal framework. He underscored that this project aligns with the directives of the leadership to promote agricultural development and achieve self-sufficiency.
