Rebekah Vardy could be new Old Firm WAG as Jamie may be heading to Glasgow
Jamie Vardy has been linked with a move to Scotland, with Rangers and Celtic both said to be keen - meaning Rebekah Vardy could be Glasgow's newest WAG. Jamie Vardy has bid farewell to Leicester City, the club he has been with for 13 years and is now ready for a new chapter at a new club. According to reports, the star could be heading up to Glasgow as both Celtic and Rangers are said to be interested. Vardy isn't only known for his antics on the pitch and is married to arguably one of the most famous WAGs ever, it's... Rebekah Vardy. Rebekah could be following in the footsteps of Helen Flanagan or Alex Curran if she swaps the title of being an English Premiership WAG for a Scottish Premiership one. The mum of five is well kent because of her marriage to Jamie, and also for being involved in a rather high profile recent celebrity court case. In 2019, Rebekah became embroiled in the 'Wagatha Christie' legal drama with fellow WAG Coleen Rooney. Coleen, who is married to football legend Wayne Rooney, famously executed an elaborate sting operation, suspecting someone was leaking stories from her private Instagram account to the press. The Scouse WAG meticulously restricted access to her posts to pinpoint the source of the leaks. Vardy, 43, has consistently refuted these claims, suggesting that her Instagram could have been hacked. She retaliated with a libel lawsuit against Rooney, claiming the viral accusation tarnished her reputation. However, during a session at The Royal Courts of Justice, it was determined that Vardy was ordered to fork out nearly £1.2million towards Coleen Rooney's legal fees. But now, Rebekah could be in for a fresh start up in Scotland if Jamie decides to make the move to the Scottish Premiership. Fellow Rangers legend Paul Gascoigne has previously said Vardy would score goals for fun at Ibrox. When asked about the possibility of Vardy joining Rangers, Gascoigne told Rangers are a tough team to play for. "They expect you to be winning every game. But I'm sure he'd score some goals up there. Easy, no problem. Especially because he's still got that pace." There's also been chat that Jamie could be heading for Celtic as former Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is back. However until then, the Vardys have been celebrating Jamie's departure from his club and Rebekah shared the hefty booze bill from Jamie's blowout. She joked about the party-goers' wild antics, captioning the lengthy alcohol tally with a trio of chuckling emojis. On the extensive bar tab were 38 Tequilas, 66 Baby Guinnesses, 41 Jagermeisters, 52 shots of Grey Goose vodka, several flutes of Sancere wine, and a bevy of 'S*** house Specials' – a potent combo of vodka and Red Bull. The forward, 38, was celebrated for his remarkable run with Leicester City, boasting 200 goals across 500 matches, with Rebekah throwing him an extravagant surprise do. She joked about the party-goers' wild antics, captioning the lengthy alcohol tally with a trio of chuckling emojis. Sharing a snap of the bespoke cocktail list on Instagram, Rebekah also revealed a selection of Vardy-themed tipples, including an Electric Vardy, which is described as a spicy margarita. Further posts by Rebekah included images from the revelries, where she's seen embracing a suited-up Jamie, donning a chic red frock with complementary heels, amidst cheers from friends. The venue was decked out with blue and gold balloons and giant photos commemorating the Foxes legend. Jamie is poised to depart from the relegated outfit this summer, following rumours of an unexpected move to Crystal Palace. Despite being 38, he's not ready to retire just yet... next stop, Glasgow? Rebekah Vardy shares eye-watering bar tab from husband Jamie's Leicester City swansong party
Rebekah Vardy has shared the eye-watering bar tab from husband Jamie Vardy's wild send-off party at Leicester City, which saw a number of bespoke cocktails drunk Rebekah Vardy light-heartedly labelled her husband and his Leicester City mates as "absolute animals" following his raucous farewell bash. The ex-England ace signed off at the King Power Stadium last Sunday after revealing his plans to depart the club earlier in the year. The forward, aged 38, was celebrated for his remarkable run with Leicester City, boasting 200 goals across 500 matches, by throwing him an extravagant surprise do. Rebekah, 43, freshly tasked with coughing up nearly £1.2million in legal fees due to the Wagatha Christie case with Coleen Rooney, shared the hefty booze bill from Jamie's blowout on social media. She joked about the party-goers' wild antics, captioning the lengthy alcohol tally with a trio of chuckling emojis. On the extensive bar tab were 38 Tequilas, 66 Baby Guinnesses, 41 Jagermeisters, 52 shots of Grey Goose vodka, several flutes of Sancere wine, and a bevy of 'S*** house Specials' – a potent combo of vodka and Red Bull, reports the Mirror. Despite being 38, he's not ready to retire just yet. The Premier League and FA Cup winner has expressed his eagerness to continue playing, with Crystal Palace surfacing as a possible new club for him. Rebekah was seen enjoying a pint with the Leicester City supporters last week after finally agreeing to pay Coleen £1.19million in legal fees following their acrimonious High Court dispute. The mother-of-five hasn't yet commented on having to fork out the money to her arch nemesis. However, she seemed untroubled by her legal troubles when she turned up to watch Nottingham Forest play against Leicester City in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw. Spotted in the away end, donning a Leicester shirt with a pair of designer sunglasses atop her head and a beer in hand, Rebekah appeared cheerful and at ease as she posed for a selfie with a fan. She was also seen among the crowd watching the match as Jamie attempted to net his 200th goal for the Foxes in a game that had both sets of supporters on their feet. After the match, Rebekah posed with her husband and their children, who were proudly wearing Leicester City shirts in support of the footballer, who confirmed that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Tequilas Mexican restaurant in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square reopens two years after fire
It's been more than two years, but now Tequilas Restaurant in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square neighborhood is back. "I'm tearing up. It's been a long time coming, and we can't wait," said David Suro Jr., who co-owns the restaurant. In February 2023 , the family business at 16th and Locust streets caught fire, and the team has been trying to rebuild ever since. The family says there's been a mix of emotions opening back up. "I have been in the business for 45 years and I swear I feel like I am just starting today. After these two years we been closed, I really feel it's a whole new beginning," founder David Suro said. "Not sure that we are counting, but there was 25 months since the fire, so it's been a long time coming," said Oscar Serrano, who is the general manager. Tequilas has been in business since 1986, and the owners say since the beginning they wanted to focus on traditional Mexican food. The family says it was a long road to recover, but it was worth every second to open those doors again. They even added a few new touches. They chose to preserve the architecture of the building but changed the flooring and paint color and had some gold elements restored in Mexico. One room had heavy smoke damage, and getting to this point wasn't easy. "It was very, very tough. We were dealing with insurance, banks, contractors, it's not easy," David Suro said. The back of the restaurant that used to be the main dining room was hit the hardest because it's right next to the kitchen, where the family says the fire started. Now, it's in the process of being transformed into a second restaurant that's expected to open in one month. The family says the customers and community rallied behind them after the fire and they can't wait to have everyone back. "I am just very happy to serve my clients again. I miss this apron big time," David Suro said. "Most of the people who work here, we have known for our whole lives. So to be back under the same house again is really special," said Suro's son Dan, who owns the restaurant.
