Rebekah Vardy could be new Old Firm WAG as Jamie may be heading to Glasgow
Jamie Vardy has been linked with a move to Scotland, with Rangers and Celtic both said to be keen - meaning Rebekah Vardy could be Glasgow's newest WAG.
Jamie Vardy has bid farewell to Leicester City, the club he has been with for 13 years and is now ready for a new chapter at a new club. According to reports, the star could be heading up to Glasgow as both Celtic and Rangers are said to be interested.
Vardy isn't only known for his antics on the pitch and is married to arguably one of the most famous WAGs ever, it's... Rebekah Vardy.
Rebekah could be following in the footsteps of Helen Flanagan or Alex Curran if she swaps the title of being an English Premiership WAG for a Scottish Premiership one.
The mum of five is well kent because of her marriage to Jamie, and also for being involved in a rather high profile recent celebrity court case.
In 2019, Rebekah became embroiled in the 'Wagatha Christie' legal drama with fellow WAG Coleen Rooney.
Coleen, who is married to football legend Wayne Rooney, famously executed an elaborate sting operation, suspecting someone was leaking stories from her private Instagram account to the press. The Scouse WAG meticulously restricted access to her posts to pinpoint the source of the leaks.
Vardy, 43, has consistently refuted these claims, suggesting that her Instagram could have been hacked. She retaliated with a libel lawsuit against Rooney, claiming the viral accusation tarnished her reputation.
However, during a session at The Royal Courts of Justice, it was determined that Vardy was ordered to fork out nearly £1.2million towards Coleen Rooney's legal fees.
But now, Rebekah could be in for a fresh start up in Scotland if Jamie decides to make the move to the Scottish Premiership.
Fellow Rangers legend Paul Gascoigne has previously said Vardy would score goals for fun at Ibrox.
When asked about the possibility of Vardy joining Rangers, Gascoigne told casinobeats.com:"Possibly. Rangers are a tough team to play for.
"They expect you to be winning every game. But I'm sure he'd score some goals up there. Easy, no problem. Especially because he's still got that pace."
There's also been chat that Jamie could be heading for Celtic as former Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is back.
However until then, the Vardys have been celebrating Jamie's departure from his club and Rebekah shared the hefty booze bill from Jamie's blowout.
She joked about the party-goers' wild antics, captioning the lengthy alcohol tally with a trio of chuckling emojis.
On the extensive bar tab were 38 Tequilas, 66 Baby Guinnesses, 41 Jagermeisters, 52 shots of Grey Goose vodka, several flutes of Sancere wine, and a bevy of 'S*** house Specials' – a potent combo of vodka and Red Bull.
The forward, 38, was celebrated for his remarkable run with Leicester City, boasting 200 goals across 500 matches, with Rebekah throwing him an extravagant surprise do.

Sharing a snap of the bespoke cocktail list on Instagram, Rebekah also revealed a selection of Vardy-themed tipples, including an Electric Vardy, which is described as a spicy margarita.
Further posts by Rebekah included images from the revelries, where she's seen embracing a suited-up Jamie, donning a chic red frock with complementary heels, amidst cheers from friends. The venue was decked out with blue and gold balloons and giant photos commemorating the Foxes legend.
Jamie is poised to depart from the relegated outfit this summer, following rumours of an unexpected move to Crystal Palace. Despite being 38, he's not ready to retire just yet... next stop, Glasgow?

England complete T20 series clean sweep to continue Harry Brook's winning start
Having whitewashed the tourists 3-0 in the ODIs, Brook's men did it again in the T20 leg to cap a triumphant start for the new limited-overs skipper. The tone was set with a breakneck opening partnership of 120 in just 8.5 overs between Jamie Smith (60) and Ben Duckett (84), paving the way for a towering total of 248 for three – equalling the record score on English soil. A record-breaking night in Southampton! 💥 IT20 series sweep secured 🔒 Match Centre: — England Cricket (@englandcricket) June 10, 2025 The tourists never got to grips with a chase of that magnitude but still made 211 for eight, Rovman Powell's unbeaten 79 coming too late to make a difference. With the series already secure, England had nothing to lose and their top-order pair batted with abandon in a powerplay that brought 83 wicketless runs. Duckett was a bundle of energy at the crease, skipping around and stepping inside the line to cue up a vast array of strokes. The bowlers struggled to find a safe area to bowl and captain Shai Hope could not plug enough gaps in the field as Duckett reversed his hands, stepped outside off to open up square leg and carved anything short over the in-field. When Alzarri Joseph tried to sharpen him up with a first-ball bouncer, he casually swatted it for six. Smith's tactics were more streamlined but no less effective, with an emphasis on big, bludgeoned shots down the ground. Duckett won the half-century sprint, bringing it up off just 20 balls, but Smith was just a couple behind. He hurried to his first T20 fifty for England with three sixes in four balls off an outmatched Romario Shepherd, with one particularly dazzling blow on the up over extra cover. His attack ended after 26 brutal balls when he leaned back and hit Gudakesh Motie to Shimron Hetmyer on the boundary, for once lacking distance. Smith was only given his chance at the top of the order due to Phil Salt's paternity leave, but the role already feels like his to lose. The reward for removing him was the arrival of the series top run-scorer, Jos Buttler, who announced himself by rocking back and hammering Joseph over the crowd and into the concourse in front of the fast-food vans. Buttler perished after skying a wide ball from Sherfane Rutherford and Duckett saw a first century evade him when he lost his leg stump to Akeal Hosein, but the runs kept flowing. Brook hit 35no, including eight off the last two balls to level Australia's record score at the same ground in 2013, while Jacob Bethell produced another electric cameo worth 36no from only 16 balls. That included three mighty sixes in succession off Motie and a wonderfully inventive reverse flick to deep third. It looked a tall order for an brow-beaten West Indies and so it proved, Luke Wood and Liam Dawson taking care of the openers Evin Lewis and Johnson Charles in single figures. Hetmyer smashed three sixes as he burned brightly and briefly, attempting a fourth off Bethell's left-arm spin but finding the fielder. Hope went down fighting with 45 before being bounced out by Brydon Carse and Powell took a hefty chunk out of the winning margin, but the chase never quite caught fire. Rutherford and Shepherd mustered one run between them as Adil Rashid spun out both, with Wood returning to pick up two more late wickets at the death.

I've joined the epic retirement club thanks to my ex-Celtic player son who said ‘you don't have to work anymore'
A MUM of five has revealed how she was able to retire last year thanks to her big-hearted son - who is a former Celtic player. Veronica Morgan posted a heartfelt message onto The Epic Retirement Club page on Facebook, explaining how she was able to join the club thanks to her footie star son. Sign up for the Celtic newsletter Sign up 2 Veronica Morgan was able to retire last year thanks to her big-hearted son 2 She's the mother of Scotland international Lewis Morgan Credit: Kenny Ramsay She can now travel the world and visit her sons and daughters - who are situated all over the globe - after the kind gesture from ex-Celtic winger Lewis Morgan. Lewis, 28, has been earning the big bucks as a footballer since he sealed his dream move to Parkhead from St Mirren in 2018. Things didn't quite work out for the wide-man in Glasgow, though, as he only lasted two years at the Hoops before heading stateside. But it's fair to say he's been living the good life across the pond since 2020, having initially joined Inter Miami - before Lionel Messi made the switch to David Beckham's side. Now at New York Red Bulls, the six-cap Scotland star has managed to put enough of his earnings to one side to help his loved ones out. Veronica posted on social media: "I'm so grateful to my son who retired me last year. I'm 65 and now living my best life. My children have all moved away, we are from Scotland. "My eldest son and partner are in Lytham St. Anne in England, my eldest daughter and husband in Melbourne Australia, my middle daughter and husband in Manhattan New York City, my youngest son and partner in Hoboken New Jersey, and my youngest daughter is in London, so I'm travelling now in my retirement and loving every minute." Veronica had plans to retire for some time but she wasn't in a position financially to go through with it - until her son helped her out. She continued: "I had been wanting to retire my son just gave me the push I needed to do it. "He knew I was getting tired working and didn't want me to think I had to keep working when he had the means to say 'enough is enough mum you don't have to work anymore'. The diggers move in as Celtic Park pitch is dug up "I'd never not had a job since I was 14 even when I had the five kids all under 7 at one point I still worked. "My husband and me both juggled our jobs to make sure someone was always there for them and it was tough but you do what you have to do to give your kids a good life. "They are so thankful for that and I'm so proud of all of them they've all gone on to have amazing careers - his just happened to be the one that allowed me to retire and I'm so grateful to him every day."
