Norfolk farmer to enter Love Island villa
A farmer from Norfolk is one of the latest contestants to enter the Love Island villa.
Will Means - who comes from a farming family in Terrington St Clement - is joining three others, including Giorgio Russo, the brother of England Lioness Alessia Russo.
The four are set to appear at the end of tonight's episode of the ITV2 show, which is filmed in Majorca.
According to his LinkedIn, Will is currently a sales representative at Coca-Cola but spent seven summers working on the family farm in west Norfolk.
His father, Mark Means, was named Farmer of the Year in 2024 at the Farmers Weekly Awards.
Talking about why he wanted to take part, the 25-year-old said: "I'm excited and looking forward to getting in there and speaking to girls.
"It's the chance to meet a soulmate, which would be great.
"I grew up on the family farm and I was named the fourth fittest farmer by Farmers' Weekly in 2023. It's a fitness competition.
"It was good. A bit of a laugh, fourth in the UK is quite cool.
"I think about 5,000 entered. It raises awareness for mental health as well and helps build a community among young farmers who spend a lot of time in tractors on their own."
Will is the latest person from Norfolk to try and find love in the villa.
Harley Judge, who went to Attleborough High School, entered the villa as a 22-year-old in 2017.
He coupled up with eventual winner Amber Davies on the first day and the pair shared a steamy kiss just hours after meeting.
Sadly, Harley didn't find love and was the first islander to be booted out of the villa.
In 2018 Sam Bird, a then-gym owner from Norwich, entered the Majorcan villa as a bombshell on day 19 and coupled up with Samira Mighty.
Sam ended up in a drama-filled couple with Georgia Steel and the pair were dumped from the villa on day 47 after refusing to couple up with other contestants.
The couple broke up shortly after the show and Sam married Kailah Casillas-Bird last year.
Ellie Spence from Norwich joined the winter series of the show in 2023 and after entering as a bombshell she spent two weeks in the villa before getting the boot.
Last summer, Caine Bacon from Bradwell went to Fiji to take part in the US version of the show.
He entered the villa on day 17 and was dumped from the island on day 25.
