Crash on SH 360 in Arlington prompts road closures ahead of morning rush hour

A crash prompted a large portion of State Highway 360 in Arlington to shut down Friday morning. The crash was reported around 5:45 a.m. at SH 360 and Randol Mill Road, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. Arlington police said SH 360 is shut down southbound at Avenue J. At 6:30 a.m., traffic was backed up for several miles on SH 360. These lanes will be closed for about three hours, according to police. This story is developing. Check back for updates.

Pedestrian on roadway closes Interstate 10 for hours in East El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Interstate 10 East at Yarbrough was closed for nearly eight hours after a pedestrian was transported to a hospital with serious injuries on Sunday morning, July 13, in East El Paso. According to the El Paso Police Department, the call came in at 10 a.m. on July 13 about a traffic hazard that turned out to be a pedestrian on the roadway. The highway reopened at about 6 p.m. Sunday, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. El Paso Police said one person was transported with injuries. Police did not identify the person or say what led up to the incident. The El Paso Fire Department confirmed the pedestrian was transported with serious injuries (Code 3).
