Teen injured in shooting on Niblick Drive, Winston-Salem police say
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Winston-Salem police are investigating a shooting that left a teen injured Saturday evening. According to the Winston-Salem Police Department, at 6:29 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Grandview Club Road at Duffer Lane, where an 18-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local medical facility for treatment. Investigative leads took officers to the 4200 block of Niblick Drive, where a crime scene was located. The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information related to the shooting is asked to call the WSPD's non-emergency number at (336) 773-7700. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling (336) 727-2800 (English) or 336-728-3904 (Spanish). Multiple shots fired at Carver High School in Winston-Salem, police say
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Police are investigating after shots were fired at Carver High School in Winston-Salem on Thursday night, according to a Winston-Salem Police Department news release. Winston-Salem officers are investigating after multiple gunshots were fired at Carver High School around 8 p.m. The gunshots were reported to have been fired in the parking lot of the school. Two vehicles were hit. No injuries have been reported. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the non-emergency number at (336) 773-7700.
