Teen injured in shooting on Niblick Drive, Winston-Salem police say
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Winston-Salem police are investigating a shooting that left a teen injured Saturday evening.
According to the Winston-Salem Police Department, at 6:29 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Grandview Club Road at Duffer Lane, where an 18-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local medical facility for treatment.
Investigative leads took officers to the 4200 block of Niblick Drive, where a crime scene was located. The shooting remains under investigation.

Three injured in early morning I-10 shooting in Prairieville
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office (APSO) Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting that left three people injured early Sunday morning on Interstate 10. According to APSO, deputies responded to reports of gunfire near the 176-mile marker on westbound I-10 around 2 a.m. The sheriff's office said a vehicle carrying several male subjects was traveling west when another, unknown vehicle pulled alongside and opened fire. Three people inside the vehicle were shot. APSO said two of the victims suffered critical injuries, but the victims were able to exit the interstate and call 911. Moped-riding NYC bully rips $1,300 chain off 5-year-old boy's neck: sources
A moped-riding mugger ripped a $1,300 chain off of a 5-year-old boy's neck then sped off on a Bronx street Saturday afternoon, according to cops and law enforcement sources. The unidentified brute drove the two-wheeler up to the young child as he was walking to his father in front of an apartment building on Marion Avenue and carried out the sudden heist around 4 p.m., police and sources said. Police are looking for the mugger who took off on a moped. DCPI The boy was left with redness and swelling to his neck, and needed to be treated at the scene by EMS. The stolen chain is worth around $1,300, sources said. The 5-year-old boy had redness to his neck.
