In what seems to be a rising trend of security breaches in Bollywood, actor Aditya Roy Kapur became the latest celebrity to face an alarming intrusion at his home. Just days after similar incidents involving Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan, Kapur's Bandra residence witnessed a startling security lapse when a fan from Dubai trespassed into his apartment, triggering police action and public concern. IANS reported that, according to the Mumbai Police, the 47-year-old woman, identified as Gazala Zakaria Siddiqui from Liwan in Dubai, entered Kapur's home in Bandra West, on Monday evening. She allegedly misled the actor's house help and claimed she had been invited at 6 p.m. Her vague answers raised suspicion, and when Aditya returned home, he did not recognise her and quickly alerted his team. His managers contacted the Khar Police, leading to her detention and an FIR being filed. Police officials confirmed that the woman had no legitimate reason to be at Aditya Roy Kapur's residence. The incident has raised further alarm in Bollywood, especially as it comes on the heels of several recent high-profile security breaches. Just days earlier, another woman attempted to trespass into Salman Khan's highly guarded Galaxy Apartments. Aditya Roy Kapur's work On the work front, Aditya Roy Kapur is gearing up for the release of his next film, Dino. Directed by Anurag Basu, the ensemble drama also features a stellar cast including Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta. The much-anticipated film is slated to hit theatres on July 4. He was last seen in 2023's Gumraah opposite Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy, which was a remake of the Tamil film, Thadam.

Wild elephant profiling to be extended to all forest divisions in Tamil Nadu
COIMBATORE: In an effort to mitigate human-elephant conflict, the government would soon extend elephant profiling to all the forest divisions across the state. Profiling involves noting the physical characteristics and assigning a name to a wild elephant to enable easy identification and tracking. Behavioural aspects too are compiled. Elephant profiling tasks, which were carried out earlier only in Coimbatore and Nilgiris districts, was stopped due to administrative reasons. As part of reviving the project, a training programme was held in association with NGO Osai for forest range officers and foresters, at the Tamil Nadu Forest Academy in Coimbatore on Wednesday. 'We have commenced the training programme as part of the Thadam project under Tamil Nadu Biodiversity Conservation and Greening Project for Climate Change Response (TBGPCCR). Our primary aim is to understand the morphological features and behavioural characterisation between individual elephants and identify them using separate IDs, similar to the task being done for the individual tigers. We have identified 105 conflict-prone villages and taken steps to address it by creating awareness and taking steps to address the human-elephant conflict scientifically.' said I Anwardeen, principal chief conservator of forests and chief project director of TBGPCCR. 'We are working out the standard operating procedures for farmers for warding off the wild animals in the forest boundaries,' he added.
