An actress and producer who has worked in the Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil film industries started her acting career at the age of 17. In 2009, she made her debut with the Malayalam film Neelathamara and later appeared in the Tamil film Mynaa. She received a lot of praise for her performance and even bagged a Best Actress award. The actress was also seen alongside Mohanlal and Biju Menon in Run Baby Run.
We are talking about actress Amala Paul, who has worked with director AL Vijay. She was also romantically linked with him and later got married. Their marriage lasted for two years, from 2014 to 2016, due to disagreements between her and her in-laws regarding her decision to continue acting.

The South sensation has been a part of superhit movies like VIP, Thalaivaa, and The Goat Life. When her career was booming, the actress started dating entrepreneur Jagat Desai in 2023. After a month of being in a relationship, she got pregnant. In July, they tied the knot and welcomed a baby boy in 2024.

Amala told that she had lived with Jagat for a few months before marriage and during this time she also got pregnant without marriage. Then she did not know what to do. Speaking to JWF Binge, Amala said, 'I got pregnant at a time when I didn't know what to do with my life. But that experience gave me a sense of direction and made me a better person. Everything became about that little life inside me. I didn't know where the 'me' went– but I liked it.'
'Marriage came later,' she added.
Amala has also worked with Ajay Devgn in Bholaa as Dr. Swara. She has also worked with Tahir Raj Bhasin and Zarina Wahab in Ranjish Hi Sahi series.
