‘Trapped in the UK' after a vicious attack while on holiday
It's an impossible situation. Tharel Thompson, a young man from Barbados, was on holiday with family in the UK when he became the victim of a vicious attack.
He was left with severe injuries and now needs 24-hour care and further surgery.
But as a foreign national he's not entitled to NHS treatment.
According to his mother, who's in this country to care for him, he's not well enough to be moved back home to Barbados and the treatment he needs would not be available there anyway.
