Wexford County Council criticised for removing cancer charity's road signs
The phones of local representatives have been ringing off the hook in recent days, with irate constituents ringing to vent their frustration at Wexford County Council's confiscation of road signs on access roads around Wexford town.
Among those to have seen their signs taken from their spots with no explanation in recent days were The Bannow Rathangan Show, Rathangan Country Fair, Taghmon Street Fest and worst of all Relay for Life – a charity event which has raised over €1.3 million for the Irish Cancer Society.
