Miley Cyrus recently attended the Something Beautiful premiere, but what should have been a celebratory event has stirred controversy online. A viral video from the evening shows the singer being yelled at by a few attendees, with some demanding that she perform live, insisting they had "paid a lot of money" to be there. The clip has sparked outrage among fans, who have condemned the behavior as disrespectful and out of place, especially given that the premiere was not intended to be a live concert. Viral video shows Miley Cyrus being yelled at One person said in the video, 'we thought this was a concert, we paid $800'. Seconds later, another said 'are you actually going to sing?' Later she was heard singing her famous song The Climb. this actually pissed me off so bad.. how dare you disrespect MILEY CYRUS at her own event bc YOU didn't read what you were buying a ticket for?? she has no obligation to entertain you ungrateful fucks. Reacting to this, fans got really upset and reacted to the video shared on X. One wrote, 'Makes me sad people act like this. You made the choice to purchase over-priced resale tickets.' Another added, 'They are so entitled.' Here's why Miley Cyrus stopped singing Hannah Montana songs During a recent episode of The Ringer podcast, Miley Cyrus reflected on her post-Disney journey and the limitations she encountered after parting ways with the company. She shared that she was prohibited from performing any of the Hannah Montana songs after her exit. 'After I left Disney, I wasn't allowed to perform any of the Hannah Montana music. It's not like I wanted to — I mean, performing 'The Best of Both Worlds' between 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball' wouldn't have really made sense,' she explained.

‘I was buying drugs, pretended they were vintage clothes,': Miley Cyrus on hiding expenses, ‘leaking blood' on stage and Disney ban

Miley Cyrus recently opened up about a chapter of her life that somehow stayed off the radar despite her living her life in the public eye. In a no-holds-barred chat on The Ringer's Every Single Album podcast, the pop star opened up about the chaos surrounding her 2015 Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz era, revealing how she cleverly masked her drug expenses. She also spoke about the traumatic health scare, performing for 100,000 fans while silently battling a heart condition at just 14 years old, and her time under Disney's tight grip, which once even banned her from singing Hannah Montana songs. 'I'm so glad I survived that time in my life,' she admitted. Miley said, 'And so she would get these checks. That happens on touring all the time.' Her accountant thought she had a massive designer wardrobe. 'She'd ask, 'Where's that $15,000 John Lennon T-shirt?' and I'd be like, 'Oh, it's upstairs… want some?'' Miley laughed. 'We just really want to protect it. It's really delicate. The fabric — got to take care of it. So I bought a lot of vintage clothes that year,' she added. Now 32, Miley says she's been sober since 2019 (though she admitted to a slip during the pandemic) and that sobriety is the most important thing in her life today. 'That's like my God. I need it,' she said. 'I had to crash one more time to get to who I am now,' she said in an Apple Music interview. And that version of her, the one who wrote Flowers, is someone she's proud of. 'Writing Flowers was like unlocking something. It healed me in a way nothing else had.' Everyone thought it was just low blood sugar, but she was diagnosed with a condition called tachycardia. 'It wasn't just nerves,' she recalled. 'People thought I had low blood sugar and handed me a cracker. But I knew something was wrong.' For the rest of the tour, she was forced to wear heart monitors on stage. She doesn't really count it as trauma, saying she has dealt with far worse times in her life, but admitted that the incident left a mark. 'People said I was nervous. I wasn't. I was leaking blood.' Disney series Hannah Montana was Miley's big breakthrough, she played a pop star hiding her real identity to live a normal life. But after she left the show in 2011, Disney banned her from performing any of those songs. Miley admitted, 'It's not like I even wanted to,' perform them. 'Imagine me singing 'The Best of Both Worlds' between 'Wrecking Ball' and 'We Can't Stop.' It just didn't make sense.' Still, she admitted the ban stung a bit; those songs had her face and her voice. But in 2024, Disney finally recognised her as a 'legend' and lifted the ban. Miley made peace with the past, joking, 'If I was made in a Disney lab, something definitely glitched between 2013 and 2016. Sorry, Mickey.'

Priyanka Chopra's husband Nick Jonas' ex Miley Cyrus recalls their break up: ‘He dumped me, I asked why are you leaving'

Miley Cyrus is opening up about her personal life like never before. For the past few weeks, the pop star has been baring it all, from unpacking her family dynamics and rocky relationship with dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, to revealing health scares, and more. The Flowers singer, making a comeback with Something Beautiful, recently sat down for a lengthy conversation on the Every Single Album podcast and made some rare comments about her previous relationship with Nick Jonas. The Disney darlings dated on and off between 2006 and 2009, but Miley has openly expressed that she wasn't happy with how things ended. Also read: Miley Cyrus opens up about 'traumatic' health scare that nearly made her quit music: 'Excruciating experience' 'I like Nick,' the Grammy winner said. 'I'm into him,' she insisted. Miley said she was left completely 'distraught and sobbing' when Nick didn't let her join the music tour and decided to focus on his own thing instead, back when they were together. She felt like he was pulling away from the Disney bubble while she still wanted to ride it out together. 'Why are you leaving me?' she recalled asking him. 'Why don't we do it together?' However, the singer then noted that they have all moved on with their lives, referencing Nick, who is now married to actor Priyanka Chopra, and the duo also share a 3-year-old daughter, Malti Marie. On the other hand, Cyrus is dating Maxx Morando, the pair has been together since 2021. Miley now seems to have let go of the past, sentiments were not always the same. In her 2009 book Miles to Go, Miley opened up about her relationship with Nick for the first time and described him as Prince Charming. However, in the recent podcast, she joked that what she actually wanted to say back then was, 'Nick Jonas dumped me, he's a d**k.' But her team watered it down for the book. The editors let her say Nick wasn't a 'very nice boy.' But Miley recalled she wanted to write, 'He's an a**hole.' She even threw in a nostalgic 'Niley for life' (their nickname) for the fans who were rooting for them back then.. However, the bitterness is gone now. Miley appreciated how Nick praised her and fellow Disney alums Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, saying that the whole Disney class made it out strong, with lasting careers. For years, Miley ruled Disney with Hannah Montana, but when she left the show in 2011, she wasn't allowed to sing a single song from that time. 'It's not like I wanted to—I mean, performing 'The Best of Both Worlds' between 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball' wouldn't have really made sense,' she shared on Spotify's Ringer podcast earlier. 'I wasn't allowed to sing them. That was sad. Those songs had my voice, my face,' she said. Things only changed after she was named a Disney Legend in 2024. Now, she's finally allowed to perform them again.

Miley Cyrus Says Disney Stopped Her From Singing ‘Hannah Montana' Songs, ‘Not Like I Wanted To'

Disney prevented Miley Cyrus from performing songs from Hannah Montana after the show ended in 2011. But she said in a new interview with The Ringer podcast, 'It's not like I wanted to.' She explained: 'Performing 'The Best of Both Worlds' between 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball' wouldn't have really made sense,' she said. The TV series, which propelled Cyrus to stardom as a pop star who hid her true identity from fans so she could live a normal life, ran from 2006 to 2011. During that time, five Hannah Montana soundtrack albums came out, as well as one live record and two remix albums. She also released three solo albums on Disney's Hollywood label* before switching to RCA and releasing Bangerz, home to 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball,' in 2013. Around that time, she sexualized her performances more, twerking with Robin Thicke at the 2013 VMAs. So, apparently, Disney decided she could enjoy the best of only one world. 'It was still sad knowing those songs have my voice, my face, and I wasn't allowed to sing them,' she said. As of last year, though, both worlds have opened back up to Cyrus. She was named a Disney Legend in a 2024 ceremony, where she apologized to the Mouse in Chief. 'I definitely wasn't created in a lab, and if I was, there must've been a bug in the system which caused me to malfunction somewhere between the years of 2013 and '16,' she said at the time, according to Deadline. 'Sorry, Mickey.' So now, the singer, who is now 32, told The Ringer, it could be back on for her Hannah Montana persona (if she wanted to go that way): 'After being inducted as a Disney Legend, I was given permission to perform those songs in the future, which is pretty cool,' she said. * The Disney ban must not have applied to the Hollywood albums, though, since 'Party in the U.S.A.,' off Cyrus' The Time of Our Lives EP in 2009, is the song Cyrus has performed live the most times in her life, as recent as 2022.
