IT seemed an innocuous enough comment.

So perhaps no-one, particularly not Chris Sutton himself, shouldn't be surprised that he swiftly found himself taken to task for congratulating Hibs and Dundee Utd for their European heroics.
Martin Boyle smashed through the century mark of goals for the Hibees as they recorded a famous win against Partizan in Belgrade.
And Dundee Utd upset the odds too with a fine battling 2-2 draw against Rapid Vienna in Austria which gives them a fighting chance of reaching the Conference League playoff round.
Hibs will take on AEK Larnaca or Legia Warszawa if they can make it past Partizan while Dundee Utd will take on AIK Stockholm or ETO FC Győr of Hungary.
And quick as a flash, Sutton took to X to write: "Well played Hibs and Dundee United this evening."
But he found his comments quickly pounced on by radio host Ewen Cameron, who presents on Bauer Media's Greatest Hits Radio Glasgow as well as hosting The Big Scottish Football Podcast.
He pointed out that no such praise had been forthcoming from Sutton on Tuesday night, when Rangers put in an impressive display in a 3-0 first leg Champions League qualifying win against Viktoria Plzen.
He wrote: "You appear to have missed Rangers great result on Tuesday night.
"They won 3-0."
