And now new research has revealed the top-ranking venues across the UK - and three of which are in Glasgow. Experts at Betway have compiled the list by using social media and Google review data. The team looked at the number of Instagram and TikTok hashtags each venue has, as well as its Google review rating. They also considered each location's Google search volume to find out which one came out on top. Ronnie Scott's, in London, ranked in the number one spot with an impressive number of hashtags and a Google rating of 4.7 out of five. The renowned Jazz Club in Soho also impressed with an annual Google search volume of 1.62million. However, following close behind is SWG3 in the Finnieston area of Glasgow. The indie venue, which was formerly an industrial space, had almost 40,000 Instagram mentions and 10,000 TikTok mentions. It was also recognised for its diverse music and arts scene and received a 4.5 rating on Google. Troxy, in London, and Brudenell Social Club, in Leeds, take the fourth and fifth spots on the table, respectively. But King Tut's brought Glasgow back into the rankings again after sealing sixth place. It also has a 4.7 rating on Google, with around 34,800 annual searches. The Barrowland Ballroom in the east end of Glasgow follows close behind in eighth place, beaten only by Manchester's Band on the Wall. It also has a Google rating of 4.7 and has 11,600 Instagram hashtags and 450 TikTok hashtags.
