Lollapalooza Aftershows lineup is here—here's who's keeping the party going all night

No more need for lineup rumors or headliner predictions: Lollapalooza 2025 will officially kick off this summer with four days of the world's best music under the iconic Chicago skyline at Grant Park from July 31 through August 3. Whether your vibe is metal, country, punk, hip hop or electronic dance music, you'll find something to love at this mammoth music festival: Thursday's lineup includes Tyler, The Creator and Luke Combs; Friday's smashers are Olivia Rodrigo and Korn; Saturday you can see Rüfüs Du Sol and Twice; and Sunday's stars are Sabrina Carpenter and A$AP Rocky, among many other artists set to dazzle over the weekend. But the party doesn't end there: The 2025's Aftershows lineup has dropped and the talent coming to the City of Big Shoulders is fantastic. With more than 40 artists performing at two dozen stellar venues citywide, the late-night Aftershows give music fans the chance to see both established and emerging artists in more intimate settings than those big Lolla stages. Participating venues include celebrated locales like Aragon Ballroom, Bottom Lounge, Empty Bottle, House of Blues, Metro, Riviera Theatre, Salt Shed, Sound-Bar, Thalia Hall, and Vic Theatre. And taking to those stages will be a wide variety of live talent this year, including Layz, Magdalena Bay, Wild Rivers, Foster the People, Tanner Adell, Bleachers, Cage the Elephant, FINNEAS, Sierra Ferrell with Yana, Wallows, La Femme, Ravyn Lenae (a Chicago native), Fujii Kaze, Djo, Mariah the Scientist, Bôa, Isaiah Rashad, Remi Wolf, Dominic Fike, The Symposium, JPEGMAFIA, Bladee, Zack Fox, and many more. Tickets on sale as of Friday, May 30 at 10am Central Time; the Aftershows will be held beginning Wednesday, July 30 (the day before Lollapalooza kicks off) and run through Sunday, August 3, the last day of the festival. Prices range from $59 and up for the percale pillowcase set (currently on sale for $41.30 and up) to $778 and up for the linen bed bundle (currently on sale for $554.60 and up). Not sure about the difference between all of Parachute's fabrics? The brand's percale and sateen bedsheets are both made of 100 percent long-staple Egyptian cotton and meet the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. However, hot sleepers will prefer the percale, which has a crisp, matte and lightweight finish to keep you cool at night. The silky-soft sateen sheets have a smooth feel, while the tight (but still breathable) weave is ideal for keeping cold sleepers warm. Parachute's naturally antimicrobial linen sheets are made of European flax, and are ideal for all types of sleepers year-round as they're breathable for warm days but cozy enough for cool nights. The brand's brushed cotton also has a buttery-soft percale weave that's light and crisp, but the material has a warmer and cozy feel that the brand says is warmer than its classic percale but cooler than sateen. Its organic cotton meets GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification. The brand's down fill is made of European white down (85 percent clusters, 15 percent down and feather fibers) and the down alternative is made of 100 percent hypoallergenic microfiber. The company offers towels in a range of fabrics: a plush Turkish cotton that dries quickly, a supersoft rib cotton, a lightweight waffle weave and 100 percent organic cotton. All of Parachute's materials Oeko-Tex Certified Standard 100 guidelines, so textiles are tested for harmful substances, color fading and acidity to ensure the health of factory workers and consumers alike. We also love that the company offers free carbon-neutral shipping, a 100-day mattress trial and 60-day returns if you're not in love with your bedsheets or towels. ITV viewers switch off David Tennant's new game show Genius Game after just ten minutes as they share same complaint

ITV viewers switched off David Tennant's new game show after just ten minutes as they shared the same complaint. The first episode of Genius Game premiered on Wednesday evening and saw players test their intellectual acumen and attempt to win a cash prize. Hosted by the Doctor Who star, 54, who took on the role of The Creator, the eight-part reality game series takes inspiration from a South Korea n show. However, many viewers took issue with the new programme and commented on how 'complicated' it seemed, with many not understanding the premise. Some took to social media to share their concerns and posted on X: 'Just starting this. Seems very complicated. I'll watch it out but not looking good tbh #GeniusGame.' 'Still have no idea how this works #GeniusGame.' According to The Sun, one watcher turned off the show in just ten minutes and penned: 'Bye bye.' Others said: 'Sorry #GeniusGame it's a no from me, way too complicated for that time of night, I need mindless entertainment after a busy day, ITV should've just extended #CBBUK instead.' ''I didn't understand the rules fully' - Most relatable contestant ever.' 'I'm struggling to understand. I'm clearly no genius, the rules on rules on rules are something else #GeniusGame.' 'So do you have to be a genius to understand The Genius Game? I have completely no idea what's actually happening.' 'I've given up on this already.' 'This #GeniusGame is needlessly complicated...' While someone else enjoyed the show and wrote: 'This was a really good premiere of #GeniusGame for ITV. I'm a bit wary that the general public can't understand the games, but for me, it's about smart people trying to outsmart their peers. And I loved it.' However, many viewers took issue with the new programme and commented on how 'complicated' it seemed, with many not understanding the premise It comes after Alex Jones was scolded and forced to apologise for 'spoiling' David Tennant's new series live on The One Show. The BBC presenter appeared alongside co-host Angelica Bell on Tuesday evening's instalment. 'And now you're about to front, a brand new game show,' Angelica commented. '11 contestants, all with exceptional qualities, fighting it out for a big prize, a sum of money. Tell us about what your role is.' David explained: 'I'm the creator, I didn't create it, but I'm called the creator.' The star described how in the show, he was 'sort of the voice of God' and added: 'I kind of appear and give them instructions and tell them things, and make them do things.' 'They're all very bright and clever,' David said. Alex commented: 'NASA and things?' 'Well, the NASA thing is a bit of a spoiler that,' the former Doctor Who star revealed. Alex put her head in her hands and groveled, 'Sorry, sorry David!' He joked back: 'You've watched the first episode clearly, that's fine.' 'So there's a stand up comic, and the crime writer and there's a forensic scientist and there's a professional poker player,' he went on.

Genius Game rules explained as ITV viewers dub David Tennant show 'impossible'

After a new game show hit screens tonight, many viewers were left scratching their heads about how it actually works. Hosted by Bafta and Emmy award-winning actor David Tennant, Genius Game is based on a format that originated in South Korea. Taking on the role of The Creator, he leads the game that invites the country's most brilliant minds to take part in the ultimate TV challenge. Ahead of the show premiering, ITV teased: 'Genius Game is a brand-new reality game show that will see strategically minded players, chosen not just for their high intellectual prowess but also their social IQ, face the ultimate battle of survival. 'To win, contestants will participate in a host of never before seen games all designed to not only test their intellectual acumen but encourage them to carefully and creatively use the art of manipulation to outfox their opponents and win a cash prize.' However, after the first episode left many people 'baffled', here's a break-down of what we know about the game. Genius Game features a diverse group of 11 contestants, including a crime writer, forensic scientist, DJ, comedian and GP. They were each selected for their strategic thinking, social intelligence and diverse backgrounds. On the show, the group must work together on a series of games designed to test their intellectual and teamwork skills, following guidance from The Creator. In his role as The Creator, David guides players as they attempt to navigate each uniquely crafted challenge. Each episode revolves around one key 'Main Match' in which all of the contestants participate in a group task, with one winner eventually earning a 'Token of Life' that grants them immunity from elimination on that night. However, the player who ends in last place in that round is then forced to select another contestant to face in the head-to-head 'Death Match' at the finale of each episode, with the loser then being eliminated from the competition. As the game progresses they also accumulate 'garnets', a form if currency that can affect Some of the games from the Korean version will feature in the series as well as some new introductions. More Trending Speaking about the show, ITV's head of entertainment Katie Rawcliffe said: 'This exciting reality format is designed to keep not just the players but the audience on the edge of their seats with each episode containing compelling gameplay and thrilling twists. 'David Tennant is the perfect ringmaster to preside over this battle of brainpower, teamwork and deception. We're delighted to be bringing Genius Game to the ITV audience.' The last remaining contestant in the show wins the title of 'The Genius' and claims the prize of up to £50,000. Genius Game airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ITV1. Got a story?
