SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The month of March is here and with it comes an exciting time for basketball fans.
The Summit League Basketball Championships begin Wednesday in Sioux Falls.

The Crooked Pint is expecting a busy week ahead.
The restaurant, connected to a hotel, is near the PREMIER Center where all the Summit League basketball action will take place.
General manager Krissy Yerigan says extra staff will be on hand as more people stop in for a bite to eat.
'You never know when it's going to hit, so we just like to be prepared,' Yerigan said.
The restaurant is also making sure there's plenty of food and drinks to serve customers.
'Extra hamburger buns, extra hamburgers, the patties, and our liquor and beer order is pretty significant, especially with the beer and liquor because we only get that once a week, so we don't want to run out,' Yerigan said.
Experience Sioux Falls CEO Teri Schmidt is expecting thousands to travel to Sioux Falls for the tournaments, but just how big that number gets depends on different factors.
'Weather, when they're teams play, can they get away. Some years we've had more than others. It just depends on so many factors, but we know we will have some good crowds,' Schmidt said.
And Yerigan welcomes the crowds.
'I thrive on the busyness, and it makes your day go fast, and it keeps things interesting,' Yerigan said.
