Seahawks select speediest wide receiver in latest 2025 NFL mock draft
Seahawks select speediest wide receiver in latest 2025 NFL mock draft 🚨NEW NFL MOCK DRAFT🚨@TheTalentCode just dropped his latest mock draft: 🏈 Which 3 QBs get drafted? 🏈 Who lands Ashton Jeanty outside Top 10? 🏈 There's a new TE1 🏈 Cowboys add a top WR 🏈 1 of Travis Hunter/Mason Graham fall out of Top 5#NFLDrafthttps:// — The Draft Network (@TheDraftNetwork) April 7, 2025 The Seattle Seahawks parted ways with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett at wide receiver earlier this offseason. General manager John Schneider signed veteran wideout Cooper Kupp to pair with Jaxon Smith-Njigba in response. The Seahawks are now entering the 2025 NFL draft searching for additional help at receiver. The Draft Network recently released their latest first-round mock draft. While most projections have the Seahawks drafting an offensive lineman, TDN took a different approach. Keith Sanchez has the Seahawks selecting University of Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden at No. 18 overall. "Like their divisional rival, the 49ers, the Seahawks have had an active offseason, offloading players who have been key pieces to their offensive identity," Sanchez wrote. "However, the Seahawks need to replace those playmakers if they want a shot at seeing Sam Darnold resemble the version of himself he was in Minnesota. The addition of Matthew Golden is much needed, and Golden has the opportunity to immediately become a key player for the Seahawks and be the WR1 in Seattle." Golden ran the fastest 40-yard dash of any wideout at this year's NFL Combine with a blazing-fast 4.29-second result, establishing himself as a top 20 pick in April's festivities. Golden would add a layer of playmaking speed to Klint Kubiak's offense.

Denver Broncos fill big needs in 7-round NFL mock draft
Denver Broncos fill big needs in 7-round NFL mock draft Justin Melo's latest seven-round NFL mock draft for the Denver Broncos has Sean Payton's squad filling a lot of their key needs in the upcoming 2025 NFL draft. With their first pick in Melo's mock, the Broncos select Michigan defensive lineman Kenneth Grant (the same player we picked in our most recent mock draft for Denver). "He could play multiple positions in Payton's front," Melo wrote for TDN. "Grant utilizes first-step explosiveness and strength to gain entry into the backfield." With their second-round selection, the Broncos land Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson. "Kaleb Johnson is a decisive runner with upside as a pass-catcher as well," Melo wrote. "Johnson possesses outstanding size, speed, and strength for the position." After that, Denver lands Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson in the third round, followed by a cornerback in the fourth round and then a wide receiver, defensive lineman and offensive lineman in the sixth round. To view Melo's complete seven-round mock, visit The Draft Network. The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Wisconsin from April 24-26. These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans

New Orleans Saints met with Hawaii cornerback Cam Stone at the Hula Bowl
New Orleans Saints met with Hawaii cornerback Cam Stone at the Hula Bowl The New Orleans Saints have met with a pretty extensive list of prospects from the 2025 NFL draft class throughout this offseason, and reports continue to come out about who they had meetings with. With the draft only a few weeks away at this point, they will begin to have opportunities for top 30 visits more often in that span of time as well. However, a recent report came out about one of their pre-combine scouting, as they spoke with Hawaii cornerback Cam Stone, per Justin Melo of The Draft Network: "I definitely met with a lot of teams at the Hula Bowl. I met with the Lions, Buccaneers, 49ers, Chiefs, Saints, and a few others. I had some memorable meetings with those teams." Stone produced well in 2022 to 2024, and proved to be a formidable defender at both Wyoming and Hawaii. His 2024 season may have been his best, as he would accrue 38 tackles (29 solo and 8 assisted), 8 pass deflections, 2 interceptions, 3 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble. Additionally, he has some versatility as a return man, taking 28 kick returns for 685 yards (24.5 yards per return) and a touchdown. He will be a fun player to watch out for during the draft process and could end up being a solid addition to the Saints' defense in the 2025 NFL draft.

TE Tyler Warren surprisingly falls to Broncos in 2025 NFL mock draft
TE Tyler Warren surprisingly falls to Broncos in 2025 NFL mock draft Well, this would certainly be a surprise. In his recent first-round 2025 NFL mock draft for The Draft Network, Keith Sanchez has Penn State tight end Tyler Warren falling all the way to the Denver Broncos at pick No. 20. That would a dream scenario for general manager George Paton and coach Sean Payton, but it doesn't feel like a realistic scenario. The pick is set up after the Indianapolis Colts surprisingly select Michigan tight end Colston Loveland at No. 14, choosing him over Warren. Six picks later, the Broncos land Warren. "Warren is a big body in the middle of the field for Bo Nix to utilize," Sanchez wrote on TDN. "Warren is a playmaker at the TE position—an offensive game plan could be run through him." Perhaps just as surprising as Warren falling to Denver is Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty falling to the Los Angeles Chargers are pick No. 22. Warren and Jeanty are both expected to go off the board before the Broncos make their pick at No. 20. You can never rule out any possibility during draft season, though, and it is theoretically possible that one of Warren or Jeanty could be available when Denver goes on the clock. Either player would be a dream first-round target. The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Wisconsin from April 24-26. The Broncos currently hold seven draft picks.

Saints schedule Top 30 draft visit with playmaking ECU cornerback Shavon Revel Jr.
Saints schedule Top 30 draft visit with playmaking ECU cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. The New Orleans Saints aren't wasting any time scheduling their Top 30 visits with NFL draft prospects. These are a big deal -- 30 prospects in the 2025 draft will be flown into New Orleans for a full-day visit at the team headquarters in Metairie. They'll tour the facility and locker room, go through medical checkups, and interview with coaches and team brass. And the first of their 30 visits is scheduled with East Carolina cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. KPRC2 Houston's Aaron Wilson first reported that Revel would be meeting with the Saints for his first pre-draft visit, which was confirmed by Ryan Wilson for The Draft Network to be set for Thursday, March 6. He's a fascinating prospect despite having suffered a torn ACL last September. The 22-year old weighed in at a hair under 6-foot-2 and 194 pounds at the combine, with long arms (measuring 32 5/8-inch) setting him up well for press coverage at the pro level. In 2023, Revel earned second-team All-AAC honors for having logged 13 pass breakups, an interception, a fumble recovery and a sack, plus 54 tackles. He was limited to three games in 2024 before the knee injury and still intercepted two passes. He's a playmaker. And the Saints could use him. They don't have a number-one cornerback after trading Marshon Lattimore so long as the specter of losing Paulson Adebo in free agency lingers over them. The only corners under contract for 2025 are Alontae Taylor, Kool-Aid McKinstry, Rico Payton and Rejzohn Wright. They don't just need bodies at the position. They need difference makers. It's been speculated that, had he been healthy, Revel would have been a top-20 pick in this year's draft. Instead his injury is hurting his draft stock and he could slip out of the first round altogether, much like McKinstry experienced a year ago. It remains to be seen how much time he'll need to finish recovering from knee surgery this offseason but Revel could give the Saints a big boost in the secondary once he's back on his feet. They're certainly interested to be bringing him into town for a private visit.
