K-pop boy band NCT Dream to perform in Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium in August

South Korean boy band NCT Dream will become the first K-pop group to perform in Hong Kong's new 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium, with one show planned in August. Advertisement The boy band announced on Tuesday that they would perform one concert at the stadium on August 30 as a part of their 13-show Asian tour called 'The Dream Show 4: Dream the Future', from July to December. Kai Tak Stadium, which officially opened in March, is the crown jewel of the HK$30 billion (US$3.84 billion) Kai Tak Sports Park, the city's first multipurpose sports, entertainment and leisure precinct. British rock band Coldplay, Cantopop star Nicholas Tse Ting-fung and Taiwanese band Mayday performed at Kai Tak Stadium over the past two months. NCT Dream, consisting of seven members Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Chenle, Jaemin and Jisung, debuted in 2016 as a subunit under the umbrella boy band NCT, which has a total of 25 members divided into six subunits, with different images and musical styles.
